Do you want to know the reasons why men tell lies? Those reasons are asking to be seen.

First off, a man lies to a woman to gain her approval because he simply cannot do without it. Second, he lies to prove that he can really stand out in a crowd, and therefore he deserves to find favor with her. And last but not least – he lies to her because it is easier for him to cut corners that way. Telling lies also helps him to get off scot-free when problems arise.

you see... men have absolutely no idea what a woman wants... so we answer "yes dear" to everything. There are special times when we get a small glimpse of what a woman wants... and we pounce on it... usually we get it wrong. But we try...

I've been married for 37 years to the same woman. I used to know what I wanted... now she tells me what I want. I'm even starting to look like her... boobs and all (need to lose about 20 pounds).

My father in law, a very wise man, who also shared my birthday, told me like it is...

He said men lie so we dont have to do things...like say he was asked to fold a towel, he would do it wrong so MIL would never ask again, same for dishes, homework with kids, anything.

It sort of makes sense but since I am in-tune with Dad in laws philosophy my husband does not get away with much. : )
