Emergency detention plan: 'This way to the ZOT!'
World Net Daily ^ | 05-30-2007

Houston-based KBR was awarded an initial $385 million contract in January 2006 for one year, with four one-year options extended into 2007. KBR held a previous emergency detention contract with ICE from 2000 to 2005.

ICE spokeswoman Jamie Zuieback told Corsi the primary intent of the contract was to build temporary detention facilities that could be used in the event of a mass migration crisis, but she confirmed the facilities could be employed in national emergencies, including natural disasters.

I read many years ago, that such camps exist in Palmdale, Ca, Glendale, Ca, I’m not sure I believe it, but there are supposed to be numerous camps all around the country.

Ugh. Too bad they don't hang auto thieves the way they did horse thieves.

But hey, apparently Seattle is one of the foremost cities for car theft.

Cookies are good and happy things.

Week after next I am making my honey gingersnap cookies except I guess I should just call them honey ginger because they don't snap being rather moist and chewy.

I then make honey ginger cookie ice cream sandwiches with lemon sorbet as the filling. They are so yummy. Spicy, sweet, tart and cold all at the same time.

I don’t know that they necessarily wanted the truck...maybe just the cover. Or maybe they saw not just the flashing light, but also the clutch lock. It’s $5000 to me if someone steals the truck while the lock is engaged. And with it engaged, they can’t depress the clutch.

Las Vegas is #1 for car thefts. That was just announced a week or two ago. I believe it.

Good job!

I was 25 before I got mine done! I wish I’d had them done sooner...

She was told she could have it done when she turned 16, but didn’t express any interest until recently. When we were at the mall this morning (we rarely go to the mall), I saw one of the “free ear piercing” places and asked if she wanted it done.

I am well and busy. On a regular work day I can take a break every now and then. On the weekend my “part-time” job fills most of my minutes. I have to run now. I’ll be back later to say goodnight.

Cool...I double pierced my left ear while in the military. It was one of those drunk kind of California nights that can only happen while in the military, drunk, and in California....

I had the doctor do mine on a “regular” visit. He was pretty cool about it. Then in 1995, I had a second one put in my left ear. I keep an earring in that one 24/7.

Free is good! Did she get some cool earrings, too?

I hate when that happens. For a while, back in the aerly ‘90’s, I had a full-tim job and two part-time jobs, trying to keep the wolf from the door. I’m glad it didn’t last forever. It wore me out.

Stop and smell the roses every once in a while. (In this case, it could be just long enough for a “drive-by” post!)

LOL!

Both my kids came back from boot camp with tattoos, and I asked each of them, “Well? Were you drunk?”

The answers were both negative, and I’m thinking, “What in the world possessed them...?”

In the summer of ‘92, I got my own tattoo, at 11:00 in the morning! Of course, I’d thought of it for two years, so it was just a matter of walking in the door.

My mom’s best friend, the retired Admiral’s wife, has two earrings in her left ear. She’s very fashiony (for 72).

Anoreth got tiny blue titanium studs for her “starter” earrings, because she has to keep them in for six weeks. After that, I’ll take her to Wal-mart and let her pick out another set.

She’ll want something Drastic for the next heavy-metal concert at the Methodist Church :-).
