I don't know about you folks, but I trust my government now about as far as I could throw it, so what are these "camps" for-- us?? In the event of a civil war? I AM DEAD SERIOUS.

Every year in office, clinton signed a document saying that in case of an emergency he would send the courts and congress home and rule by decree, through FEMA, which was headed by an Arkansas State Policeman who used to procure women for him when he was governor.

In case of an emergency, all bets are off. We will have millions of Muslims, most likely, who have to be sorted out. And in case of a war with Mexican nationalists, we will have tens of millions of Mexicans who needed to be sorted out.

These are unpleasant possibilities, however you slice them. That’s why the Second Amendment is so important. The government will find it a lot harder to put the whole population into camps if they are armed and ready to defend their constitutional freedoms.

I don’t expect Bush to do this, but who might be in the White House in the future? Hillary? Some tinpot tyrant we haven’t heard of yet? Rudy?

Liberals were wringing their hands because the Federal Government didn’t have a place to put several hundred thousand evacuees after Katrina. Now that they’re planning on building one, they accuse the administration of building POW camps.

“The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to expand existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs, KBR said.” http://www.marketwatch.com/News/Story/Story.aspx?guid=%7B62C8724D%2DAE8A%2D4B5C%2D94C7%2D70171315C0A0%7D&dist=SignInArchive&param=archive&siteid=mktw&dateid=38741%2E5136277662%2D858254656

It’s true. Do people not pay attention, or do they not care?

Ping

First, This article clearly misidentifies the intent of What KBR is to do. The Camps are NOT detention camps, and the buffoon from DHS that said that should be fired. The facilities are migrant camps for displaced persons.

Period.

This I know because I work very closely with KBR on these issues.

THEY ARE NOT DETENTION Facilities.

THEY ARE camps for displaced persons in the event of a contingency - like the aftermath of a Hurricane.

NOW: Calm down. Noobie.

Halliburton's former engineering and construction subsidiary has a contingency contract with the Department of Homeland Security to construct detention facilities in the event of a national emergency, according to WND columnist Jerome Corsi.

This is nothing new.

Halliburton has had contracts with Walmart and now Target to build subterranean detention facilities in the basements of their new stores now under construction. The purpose is to use the detainees as cheap labor to manufacture the products sold in the stores, in exchange for room, board, and medical care. For most liberals, this may the first time they ever did ANY real work in their lives....

You should know by now that Bush is NOT leaving office in 2009. The vast right-wing conspiracy has appointed him emperor for life!

You is about 5 years too late to the party, boy!
