Authorities said they were still searching for the minivan's driver.
Sandra Hall was in a Cadillac that was struck by the minivan Sunday night, Broward County sheriff's officials said.
The minivan was driven away with the Cadillac in pursuit, and when both vehicles were stopped in traffic Hall got out and stood in front of the minivan, authorities said.

I wonder if it was an illegal?
That didn’t take long.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the minivan driver was 80-something+ and was completely unaware of both the collision and the woman in front of him/her, not to mention clueless they were dragging a person under their vehicle until they killed them.
No description of the car or the perp. Very helpful story.
........or maybe one of those pod people.
Wow.
As we know, usually it’s an SUV that does this kind of thing. What are we coming to?
God bless and comfort her family, friends, and all — and give justice.

Broward Sheriff Ken Jenne said 24-year-old Abdelaziz Hamze was taken from Delta flight 132, bound from New York’s JFK airport to Greece, after BSO was given a tip he was the driver of the car which killed 44-year-old Sandra Hall Sunday night.
I suspect that someone could post a thread about the discovery of a quasar in some distant galaxy, and you’d still be wondering the same thing.
Sad LOL.

Woman dragged to death after several attempts to stop hit and run driver
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A woman was dragged for several miles to her death under a minivan after trying to stop the driver from fleeing a collision, officials said Monday.
Sandra Hall, 44, of Fort Lauderdale, was in a Cadillac struck by the minivan Sunday night, Broward County sheriff’s officials said.
The minivan fled the crash scene, with the Cadillac in pursuit, authorities said. Hall stood in front of the minivan when both vehicles were stopped in traffic.
The minivan’s driver sped off after hitting Hall and tossing her onto the hood, authorities said. As the vehicle continued driving, Hall fell off the hood and became lodged underneath the minivan, officials said.
Hall was dragged for several miles before she fell from the undercarriage, authorities said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff’s spokesman Elliot Cohen said officials want the minivan driver and any witnesses to come forward.
“They need to solve it before I solve it,” said Michael Williams, Sandra Hall’s husband.
Nicole Hall, Hall’s daughter-in-law, said she was a mother to the whole family. Nicole Hall’s mother, Theresa Campbell, said Sandra Hall loved to cook and would feed homeless people in the neighborhood.
“She will be missed. Even to the homeless,” Campbell said. “It always happens to the good ones.”
Please call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS if you have any information on this incident. You may be eligible for an award. The van is said to have a missing front bumper and a partial Florida tag of C72.
