Barkley? I've seen a lot of comments fom him that convince me that he doesn't like whites much at all. He is a racist.
Well I thought it was a funny joke.
Barkley is/was married to a white woman, has a couple of kids.
I didn’t take it as racist. Maybe a “white trash” stereotype. Sort of like when I drove up to West Virginia last week, and was surprised that people there actually wear shoes.
Was the comment about tube-tops and teeth?

Yeah, and I thought Don Imus was funny too, but you see where it got him.

See I never thought Imus was funny and his joke sucked. I don’t think its so much a double standard (which definitly exists) its that you can get away with alot more if people think its a good joke.
Barkley probably treated her like property. Ever notice the only group in sports whiter than NHL hockey and NASCAR is the NBA wives?
I just found it interesting to compare Barkley's joke to Imus's joke and the different media attention and consequences.
