I recall my fear when posting my FIRST thread. You were so kind, however, and I’ve been addicted to FR ever since.

I particularly like the great farewell opus threads — which have been scarce lately. Only twice have I been tempted to write a farewell opus, but got over it fairly quickly.

You all are a great source of knowledge and entertainment.

Please explain how this is done again. I went to Search and typed in my name but came up with a bunch of gobblygoop. Does that number mean you're the XXX person to sign up for FR or what?

Click on it to go to the Personal Menu page
Above the My Mail line,
you will see a text line that looks like

“You’ve posted a total of 20 threads and 1,485 replies.”

That are your index counts
If you click on My Profile
In the left upper corner you will see
A line like "Since Apr 11, 2004"
or when you joined FreeRepublic
