They Die Hard together. Bruce Willis declared yesterday at his Smithsonian appearance that it's too early to endorse anyone but did say fellow "Die Hard 2" actor Fred Thompson would "make a wonderful candidate."

I’m glad Schwarzenegger turned down the original role. Willis is the perfect casting for these types of films, just an ordinary joe kicking butt.
I mentioned this in a previous thread: Fred lost two planes as air traffic controller during that incident and I don’t remember any hearings on Capitol Hill. :) Not exactly a stellar record against terrorism if you ask me!
