"In the meantime, I bought a couple of heaters to keep the chill out. They are just amazing. Very quiet and surprisingly effective with temperature control options and remote controls." I just love mine. It has saved me a bundle..and works very well!
It is freezing here today. If this was Colorado, I'd be looking for snow by now!

"When I was much younger (ahem)....I used to love watching the guys surf those Hawaiian waves (on t.v.)." What's age got to do with it? Some of these Polynesian men are just GORGEOUS! And they've got some amazing moves...not just on the waves! Get your mind out of the gutter guys! Ever seen some of those dances? Talk about mesmerizing! Here's a little treat for you ladies.
Now let's see if this will come out right....Warning, ladies....cold shower may be needed after that last one!!!!!

Those wave pictures are from Tahiti.
They are one of the most difficult surf breaks in the world and perhaps the most physically punishing if you get wiped out there.

I can’t watch all your links...but, the fire dance...that reminds me of the time I went to Hawaii and saw a fire dance during a Luau. Very cool (no pun intended)!

I did not notice your last post on the previous thread...
That is simply gorgeous. How do you post pictures on the site and how do you watermark your pictures> Apple has a new watermark program..and am witing for the leopard to come out tomorrow..I have a new macbook pro 17 inch widescreen I want to use for photos..got the laptop last summer and it take some getting used to after microsoft though I do have my XP still...
Here is how you post a pic on here:
Upload them to a hosting site like ImageShack, which is free, and copy and paste the URL as shown below:
< center > < IMG src="paste your URL here" width="800" height="600" >
no spaces before or after the < and > signs.
Width and Height are optional.
As for watermarks, it depends on your specific Photo program.
I did not take the wave pics CG, I extracted them from a PowerPoint Presentation as shown in my next post.

A PowerPoint Presentation with music.
When it starts, right click and set to full screen.
If the music stops after the first slide just back up to the first slide and it should then run OK.

I sent some pics to BQ of surfing in Mexico a couple of years ago. She might still have them, but who knows. It only hurts when the waves are huge, or if you get bounced off the bottom. It takes a while to learn, but once you do learn it's generally more fun than anything you've ever done.

Except when I was in the ocean, then IIRC, I was afraid of huge waves. : P

Very nice slide show.
When I was growing up in Minnesota my brother and I also watched sprites going from storm clouds up to the stratosphere, but they weren’t named as such then. We would just sit outside after dark and watch red and green explosions on the horizon.

On Sunday, November 4 (the first Sunday in November) at 2 a.m., Daylight Saving Time ends in the United States. This year, Daylight Saving Time is four weeks longer than last year with the passage of the Energy Policy Act in 2005.
The Act, which extends Daylight Saving Time by four weeks from the second Sunday of March to the first Sunday of November, is expected to save 10,000 barrels of oil each day through reduced use of power by businesses during daylight hours.
