Pretty brave mom. Especially considering that these are the same kids who will be deciding in 30 to 40 years whether in home care or a nursing home would be the best option for her. Maybe the nursing home will have a carpentry program, though.

Pretty brave mom. Especially considering that these are the same kids who will be deciding in 30 to 40 years whether in home care or a nursing home would be the best option for her. Maybe the nursing home will have a carpentry program, though. I doubt that seriously. I don't know any kids that would turn so vindictive over one event. One Christmas I acted up so badly I was sent to my room and could not help decorate the family tree. I wouldn't hole up my parents for it, though!

I hope she wore holes in that 9 year olds' backside to match those in the wall...
It looks like the kids are ganging up and standing together. It may be time for separation & dissent methods. Try to single one out for punishment and reward others. It sows resentment and break up the kids coalition...
