It's a shame that Mr. Methane wasn't asked to comment on the article.

Claudius Caesar, the Roman emperor of “I, Claudius” fame, was renowned for believing that “holding it in” was bad for the health.

He didn’t try, but resented it when courtiers reacted to the stench. A relatively insensitive olfactory sense was a prime qualification for office.

Dang it - all the job listing said was "participate in a scientific study." Nothing about getting a tube shoved up my pooper or sniffing somebody's pinto bean flatulence. I gotta have a talk with my career counselor.
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my own (involuntary) research, I’ve found that vegetarians seem to emit much more in volume and toxicity! My ex was a veggie and man, could he blow out the petrol, it was like living at the Phillips plant in Houston circa 1989...and just a word of advice: NEVER eat vegetarian pepper steaks they are the recipe for the “perfect storm”. I made that dire mistake last year and there was a patch of melted snow outside my window along with a couple of dead birds and I still haven’t replaced the peeled paint...

My doctor has been after me to have my first colonoscopy for three years and doesn’t understand my reluctance since my insurance pays to have me put to sleep for it. The whole idea gives me the willies and I haven’t worked up the courage yet. No way I’m doing it if they won’t knock me out.
