The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Yeah, and since most of the things I ever bought her were guns and knives it was important I was sure about that.

Heh, that is why we don’t argue.
I’m really quite hard to tick off... you have to insult homeschooling, geek hobbies, or mentally retarded people to do it.

Now that is just silly. I mean who leaves guns out in the shed like he did? But the rest of our house is pretty much like that, yeah.
If people come visit I tell them just to leave any knives, guns, or Plutonium they find and not mess with it. The Plutonium is tossed in there to make them sure I am joking, then, after they visit, to make them wonder if I was joking at all.
hehehe

... I mean who leaves guns out in the shed like he did?... Of course not, any sane person would have them in a secret safe room behind the shelves in the library! ;o)

It’s five o’clock somewhere.
Oh wait...that’s here...
To: FrogInABlender
Well, not in the bathroom at least... ok so we don’t have one in there. Just an AK magazine.

If the basement is mostly brown and green, using some yellow would be good, since that's roughly between the brown and green on the color wheel. Then you can use some red accents throughout since that's across the color wheel from the green. So you could paint the stools red, with yellow seats, or do yellow stools with red seats. You could do some red pillows or artwork with red and yellow in it. Here's a link to a
color wheel that shows a lot of tints and shades so you can get an idea of what secondary or tertiary colors go together.

When we can, were gonna get propane gas logs for the fireplace.We've been pondering a heating solution for the media and craft rooms in the basement. We'd used some strip electric heaters, but SirKit was always nervous because the kids would have blankets, jackets, etc. down there, and we didn't want one landing on the heater and causing a fire.
We decided to get a natural gas fireplace, that is rated to heat all the square footage, and we also bought a distribution kit that will move the heater air, through ductwork, to the adjoining room. That way you don't have to have it wilting hot in one room in order for it to travel to the next one.

We don’t have natural gas in our neighborhood...well not the heating kind anyway. Thus the consideration of propane.
