Environmentalists win, the rest of us lose...
Well, let me tell you, the new ones don't work worth a damn. I told 2 different doctors that, and they both had a resigned look on their faces and said they had heard that from others. I know of one other person who is suffering a real hardship, because she needs her inhaler every day and the new one is just not helping.
Not only that, but since the inhalers are reformulated, they are not yet available as generics. This means, of course, we are paying a higher price for an inferior product.
If you have friends and relatives who use inhalers for asthma, etc., tell them to hang onto their old inhalers as long as they can and to write to their representatives ASAP to try and get this ridiculous change repealed.
I suppose one way to "save" the earth is to kill all the people off, starting with those of us with respiratory problems.
What is really sad is that in a few years, people will no longer remember how the old inhalers worked and will not know that they could feel better than they do. It's just like the low flush toilets. Many people don't know that toilets used to work just fine and just accept low flush toilets as a given. We are resigned to our fate.
Folks, environmentalists are getting their wish. They are legislating us back to the stone age.
ecoZealots don’t care what they force others to endure. they really don’t.
What is the brand name - not generic - of this inhaler that you are referring to?
Oh that’s sad!
Get this one. In order to “save the planet” the DoD has switched over to new fire suppressent systems on vehicles which are inferior to the old Halon systems. We even “Save the planet” while on fire! The Army did the switch because Halon is a CFC (Ozone depleting).
You think I’m kidding!? I 100% know this to be true and the new fire suppressents **DO NOT** work as well despite their sugar coating effort to sell it as such!

The new inhaler is trash! Nothing like gasping for air and getting little to no relief from those things. And you pay so much more for sooooooo much less.
I use two inhalers a month. I paid $10.00 for the generic one’s and now it’s $37.00 for the new junk one’s that don’t even work 1/16th as well as the old one’s.
They’re not going to have to wonder why the death rate from asthmatics starts rising after they’ve changed everyone over to the junk inhalers. It’s because they just simply do not work.
econazis believe you are an inferior stock of subhuman, the pollution you cause to the ozone hole in the sky is not outweighted by your forced contribution to their utopian society.
I don’t care how you change the above narrative, but that is the underlying argument to this insane ruling.
Also, bring back my phenyl tea you bastards.
The brand name is Xopenex.
GJ, I’m so sorry you are having such troubles, but it’s something I have heard from several others.
Yesterday I e-mailed my rep and my senators to ask them if there weren’t something they could do. I would encourage you to do the same and to pass the message along. This isn’t just a matter of convenience for many folks. It could mean serious health problems get worse, or some might not be able to prevent a fatal asthmatic episode.
And they call this a free country. Ha.
Damn watermelons
thanks, bfl
Eco-nazis will point to the rise in asthma and say it is proof that pollution is worsening.
Save the planet ... kill the people.
I’ve been able to control my asthma with Quercetin and Bromelain which I order from Swansons.
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid. Bromelain is an enzyme found in pineapple that helps with absorbtion of Quercetin. Here is some info:
