Call me crazy, but if you're gonna go to all this trouble, why not just drive the kid to school? That's where the bus is going anyway.

The First Amendment tells us that we have a right to free assembly. It does not say, “except if you are a government school kid.”
However...Unless the other kids in that government school have parents that can provide an alternative, they will be forced ( under threat of police action) to “assemble” and associate with a girl whose mom’s boyfriend shot a school bus!
Yes, parents do have a choice.
Parents can chose to pay a freedom of conscience tax to ransom their kid from the government school prisons. They can ransom their child by paying extra to homeschool or privately school. Parents still have that option, but only as long as we can keep the Marxists out of government.
Another nutty reason to homeschool.

How dare you suggest that! It's the government's responsibility to drive the kids to school. That bus driver discriminated against the girl. Citizens need to be waited on by the government.
I wonder why mom and the boyfriend aren't at work? They have two cars. Maybe they're independently wealthy.

From all the mayhem I've read about happening on school buses lately, terrorists are the least of anyone's concern. The people causing all the trouble were the students themselves.

Also,,,I think every parent should reconsider the value of a college education. Is it really worthy it? I am beginning to think, no.
Not likely. If they were they'd have sent a valet to shoot the school bus.
Oh I know they will, and I know some very great people that work in the public school systems... in fact many parents of children in my kids private school are public school teachers and administrators. They, like me, would never subject their children to the crap they see and deal with first hand on a daily basis in their schools.
Great teachers cannot truly teach in a public school system, the system is designed around beaurocratic process, not education and inspiration. One of the teachers at my child’s school is an incredible teacher, he could easily double his salary by changing to the public schools, and they have tried to steal him away... He has a masters degree, 4 kids, and stays at our school in spite of it simply because as he puts it.... “I’m allowed to teach here. If I went there I’d be doing nothing but paperwork and rubber stamping kids through.”
Since it wasn’t a student that pulled this stunt, and the bus had no children on it, just what is your point?
This is more of an issue in regard to single “mothers” and their “boyfriends.”
The bus driver did a bus driver’s job..........the idiot here is the one that went over the deepend because a school district employee did the job properly.
What does what this idiot did have to do with sendign kids to public school? Where I live the private schools also have the same type school buses as the public schools.
