We do have a choice
02/13/2008 | James MacIntosh

Posted on 02/13/2008 11:08:07 AM PST by jim0940

I’m a senior citizen conservative and I admit that I am scared of Barack Obama or John McCain, or any other of the candidates of becoming America’s 44th President and thus I will list a synopsis of things that lends to this comment.

It is a no brainier that our country is in a mess and primarily we’ve no one to fault but ourselves. I’ll eventually make my point. The nation’s infrastructure is in its worst. Our roads are in disrepair. Our sewer, water, and gas lines are rusting so badly that it puts our health at great risk. Our health care system has run amuck and our government, be it democrat or republican will not easily rectify this problem. Take for example, our welfare system, or DHS, etc., has always been out of hand and this is a sham! Our housing market is in disarray only because people became greedy and now want a bailout.

There are many who abuse and will continue to abuse their precious right because we have in place the so-called checks and balances legal system. The legal community’s thinking has to change. Neither Obama nor McCain can bring change, only the people can bring change and they have to start within themselves.

We have many who are looking for the easy way out and refuse to work hard to make a life for themselves. As an observer of those that want “change” - they look at our presidential hopefuls as their savior. Their enlarged eyes are hungry for change, yet they are the very ones that have and continue to abuse their God given talents.

Religion is a choice and for anyone to condemn another’s beliefs, or anything else that is lawful is egoism. Abortion is a choice and for anyone to condemn another’s right to act is going against the law of humanity. There are many other nouns that are choices, it is our right, not the right of personal beliefs or agendas.

The point is this. Work hard and don’t complain. Working hard and having common sense will prevail. We make mistakes and we’ve no one else to blame. The blame begins with us and finger pointing will not do it. Being racist is ignorance. Preventing those illegally crossing our domain borders is not, it is being practical to protect our interests. Witnessing the behavior of our judicial system makes me angry and sad. Our legal community needs to organize and bring law and order into reality. Far too many have lost their sense of being a human; instead, they have no regards for life. We have heard time after time; who’s at fault, the parents or the child. Parents have the responsibility to raise their child to learn the meaning of humility and grace. It is obvious that this has far from being achieved.

To me, the only difference between McCain and the two Commies is that McCain isn’t soft on defense.

Your choice is between an empty suit and someone who may know what he’s doing on a number of issues. A or B; no C, D, E, or F.

Jim I have you by 8 months and YES we all have choices. Some are hard to stomach, some are no brainier but I will make the choice I think is best given my biases.

The one choice we do not have, is how to vote OUT all the SOB/DOB’s that use OUR tax dollars to buy themselves reelection with the overwhelming give-me, give-me sorry a$$ people.

The nation’s infrastructure is in its worst.

No, it's not.

Our roads are in disrepair. Our sewer, water, and gas lines are rusting so badly...

Since when is any of that a Federal problem? Call your mayor, not the President.

Our health care system has run amuck

Health CARE is not a problem. It's merely that people don't want to pay for what they use. Simple as that.

our welfare system, or DHS, etc., has always been out of hand and this is a sham!

Not so much as you think. Welfare reform in the 90's actually DID go a very long way to reducing the number of people on welfare. It's better, not worse.

Our housing market is in disarray

No it's not. A very small percentage of people bought houses they couldn't afford. Sucks to be them, but the market will fix it.

My advice is to stop watching Network news. It's bad for you.

I think we need a few more million people who lack sufficent education to make a living in their own country and will have no difficulty becoming a parasite here in the US. Yes siree, open them borders and let all of these good people in to rape and pillage your community.

Admit it, you have too much money these days and the government should raise taxes to take care of anyone who can make it across our borders.

BS.

You need to realign your priorities regarding the laws of humanity. BTW, is English your first language?

Folks,

Please permit me. One way you can be very helpful is to go online to http://www.mikehuckabee.com and volunteer to make phone calls to Wisconsinites and Washintonians. There is a way to do that while online and it is very basic; even enjoyable.

Another way is to go to http://www.hucksarmy.com and volunteer with their voter guide calling — or anything else you see.

I think Wisconsin/Washington is a critical link in the chain, that can grow the movement and not let the campaign dwindle.

FReegards,
unspun

PS: They also take money.
PPS: I think there is something in the air about a debate with McCain on CNN.

What choice do you have, if someone wants to cut you up in the womb, before you can even see the light of day?
