My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I wait, for the time draws nigh
and soon all changes as promised long ago
patient must I be in time’s eternal flow
before my hopes are free to fly
I await the trumpet’s call
when Angels wing over head in splendored flight
and day breaks forth upon a new day’s golden light
and we rise above an Angel’s fall
Tired is the soul that’s lived too long
oh how it seeks to reach out for that sweet call
and bow in humbleness before the Father of us all
as soft and sweet Angles lift their song
Fill thy heart with gladness told
for weary am I a traveler on this mortal plain
where the horizon is an eternity away in pain
set my foot upon thy path so bold

If it makes you feel any better, we’re on our second day in a row of sandstorms. I HATE sandstorms. High winds with sand blowing into everything. Yecchh!

OK....you have it multiple times worse. There is no escaping the sand.
I am at least not on the roads most of the time.
