So far, I like most of the changes. The code generating “add topic” has a typo, and it generates the full URL (including “/posts”) so adding a topic requires cutting, pasting, and editing the URL when needed (admittedly that is rare). Also, I’d prefer that “my comments” screen showed the whole comment whether to or from.
But I think I use a whole different technique....I am on a lot of ping lists for topics that interest me,....I don't worry about following the crowd to see what is the latest and hottest thread....and I use keywords heavily....
Oh and I access latest articles and search by my own bookmarks,...so changes in FreeRepublic usually don't affect that....
So why did I bother with a comment here....
Well...because it might be useful....once things settle down to have a thread ....where people describe what their techniques are in their daily usage of FR....we might learn some new things....
