Why all of a sudden am I loading the Latest articles page?
It used to be clicking on messages in the upper right corner solved the problem. Now, I finally found "Comments" down the right side a bit, but every time ya hit browse now coming out of a thread, I return to latest articles page!

I’m reading this thread a week later,....and falling on the floor I’m laughing so hard.....Just Funny....Change is not well accepted here....wait till they see Firefox 3.0....
But I think I use a whole different technique....I am on a lot of ping lists for topics that interest me,....I don't worry about following the crowd to see what is the latest and hottest thread....and I use keywords heavily....
Oh and I access latest articles and search by my own bookmarks,...so changes in FreeRepublic usually don't affect that....
So why did I bother with a comment here....
Well...because it might be useful....once things settle down to have a thread ....where people describe what their techniques are in their daily usage of FR....we might learn some new things....
Every once in a while (usually while at work) I’ll sign on from the main index page, which of course is swimming in current topics. Generally there are multiple postings of the same article, and it shows up first in that screen, one would think that, well, anyway, we’ve all posted duplicate topics. :’)
It’s a great spot, once in a while, particularly if I just want to get on and off, because I’ll wind up spending hours. Not that I don’t anyway...
