Why all of a sudden am I loading the Latest articles page?
It used to be clicking on messages in the upper right corner solved the problem. Now, I finally found "Comments" down the right side a bit, but every time ya hit browse now coming out of a thread, I return to latest articles page!

I can’t get recent posts to show-just the original post and a listing of the number of responses. I didn’t change anything. What’s up?

Nope, that didn’t work. As soon as I go back to the main forum page, it reverts to original headings. Yikes! This stinks!

That works once.
Then, when you get done reading a thread and hit browse(Top or bottom headers) it dumps you back on the latest articles page, where you must hit comments again...

Same here. I had my profile set to browse comments. When I click "browse" on a thread it takes me back to recent threads. From there I have to click comments.
I don't like it.

There are other things not working the same, either, like the links on the right column not opening in a new window if you have that set it your preferences.
I have a hunch this was an overnight “upgrade” ... being a webmaster I know that people don’t like a big change in how things function, especially on their favorite precious forum. :)

I hate it when FR plays "confuse a FReeper", on a early Sunday morning, knowing full well most of us are still a quart low on caffine! It's not fair!!!!! Good morning Admin mod!...... Have I told you how lovely/dashing you look this morning?

Dunno...
I do see in the link for “Browse” on threads, it is tagged “Articles:Latest” so I know this was programmed in...
Simple fix would be to changed the DIV Class to an “http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/comments" anchor...
But, that would not give indivdual preference set up in some folks forum set ups...
