McCain is not middle of the road. He is left liberal. He is a Democrat. One only needs to look at his record of adultery, treatment of families of POW/MIAs, CFR, amnesty frenzy, etc. He even voted against the Cornyn amendment. He is against barring terrorists from the US - one of only ten Republicans to vote against this amendment.

I’m not sure what part of my post implies it’s FR doing this or that FR has the power to stop it. Nonetheless, several of you have read it that way.

“I hope the powers that be ease up on BO” It’s a hope, not a request and I don’t identify who that may be (b/c I don’t know, it’s probably a mix of Clinton backers and journalists sensitive to recent criticism about going too easy).

Anyway, I simply posted a vanity that I hope this quites down a bit so we still can use all of this later in the election cycle and that the public doesn’t become numb to it. I don’t think FR posters can slow it down, but perhaps some reading FR can. Even if not, I was just sharing my thoughts, not expecting anyone to do anything. It was just a vent.

I hope he does win because I think he’s the easier candidate to defeat, but don’t foget, not only does she have the superdelegate angle, she might also get MI to do a do-over. FL seems out, but MI is a possibility now.

Many would agree with you. For example, Texas exit poll showed that if Clinton lost, around 25% of her supporters would switch to McCain while only some 10% of Obama’s supporters would switch to McCain.
