The drivers weren't the only ones upset. After the race Harvick radioed for his spotter to apologize to Stewart's spotter for the contact. Harsh words ensued up on the roof of the 160,000-seat facility.

"I told my spotter to go over there and tell him what happened, and the first thing his spotter did was say he was going to whip somebody's ass, and if Tony didn't do it then he was going to do it.

So one a-hole (Harvick) spun another a-hole (Stewart)....too funny. It’s a shame the reconfiguration of Bristol has absolutely ruined it! And we are now hearing how Darlington’s surface-work has mostly eliminated the cheese-grader surface that gave the track its character. We really need a competing “stock” racing series.

Pave the tracks with Tempur memory foam.

Each car can have its own groove.
