The 3 Labs are acting wound up and playful @ 2am. Unusual for them behaviour at this time of morning/middle of the night.

Anyone else have pets acting oddly in the PNW or West coastal areas right now?

I can't sleep and tried Praying the Rosary but can't concentrate.

I am thinking maybe I should not have drank that Diet Rock Star at dinner...(rule is no caffiene after lunch when I do drink it).

So either I am sensing something and the dogs or my perception is way off due to the Diet Rock Star buzz and I am going to feel like hell tomarrow if I don't get to sleep soon.

Just curios if anyone else is having a fidgity night.

Two of the my 3 Cold Nose Crew keep going out the doggy door like some thing is up or here.

And the growling and barking is making me edgy, could be deer or could be the after effects of the Rock Star.

I keep thinking pre earthquake jitters.

Ok it is 30min later and they have resumed normal resting spot positions.

Gonna try and resume the Rosary and see if I can simmer down.

We live in Stagecoach Valley, Nevada. It's about thirty miles east of Reno and Carson City. Northeastern Reno and Verdi have been series of small earthquakes for over a month now. One especially large one (4.2) several weeks caused our Jack Russel to behave strangely. He asked to go out at around 2:00 AM. He stood about 50 yards from the house and cocked his head from side to side as if listening to some unheard by me noise. While Jackson was busy listening, he was slowly rotating. He reminded me of a rotating satellite installation. The neighbors' bloodhound normally quiet bloodhound deep bay was heard for more than an hour.

Tonight I was awakened by my husband's cell phone chirping about a missed call from # 3 son reminding us to turn our lawn sprinkles back on. We already had the week before. The dog has remained fast asleep in his crate, and now I am wide awake. Sweet dreams

Well I just lifted Jim Rob and Salvation in that Rosary Prayer bead.

I will keep at it.

Usually cures any mental buggers but I think the Rock Star needs to leave via the physical body.
