A solar powered bra that can charge a phone!

May 14, 2008

Lingerie maker Triumph International, Japan, on Wednesday unveiled a 'solar powered bra' that can generate enough power to charge a cell phone or an iPod.

The environmentally friendly, green-coloured bra sports a solar panel that can be worn around the stomach.

The bra is equipped with a solar panel which generates electricity using sunlight and distributes it to various types of electrical devices when the power cable is connected.

The bra was revealed prior to the 2008 G8 Hokkaido Toyoko Summit that will address environmental issues.

The bra, Hhwever, will not be available to customers just yet.

If it's worn around the stomach she's got a serious issue with gravity...

The lens on the camera is obviously enhancing a certain portion of the anatomy.

Everyone should have known this would be a Japanese invention.

I think my favorite so far has been the inflatable female “lap” that male travelers can rest their heads on.

The first anatomical sex robot WILL be Japanese, guaranteed.

I am just providing the visuals. I make no comment on anatomical positionings. I would hope that whoever wears one of these contraptions doesn’t use “Circus Tents R Us” as a clothing store.

You're probably right, but I wouldn't entirely count out the South Koreans.

Jackie: So we got an attractive woman, wearing a bra, no top, walkin’ around in broad daylight. She’s flouting society’s conventions!

Kramer: She was flouting.

Jackie: That’s totally inappropriate. It’s lewd, vesivius, salacious, outrageous!

There are areas of the country like here in Seattle that don’t get enough sun.

So what we need is a bra that has an eletromechanical charger inside. Like the old wristwatches that would wind up just by the motion of the wearer.

So here we could utilize the bounce.

That, of course, means we would get a way better charge the more they bounce, so natural resonators need to be built in.

Now in Portland, with all the aging hippies, the bounce wouldn’t work. But they could probably do something with the swing approach.

How can we tell if a photo is off limits?

The url I used for the photo did not have the word “getty” in it.

Thanks.

Sometimes there’s a watermark, sometimes it’s attributed (like it was here). If neither, there’s little we can do.
