While Jim Robinson is away for medical treatment, how about we talk about him?
I'll start it off by first saying how grateful I am for this wonderful FreeRepublic.com he invented and maintains. I've met not only Jim and Sheila and John and Chris, but hundreds of Freepers, brilliant, amazingly wonderful people (including my husband) solely because of FreeRepublic.com.
Let the fun begin........

He has had an impact on the national level on more than one occasion via the Free Republic. We are eternally grateful for his courage and service in hosting this site in the face of legal threats from MSM etc.
Prayers respect and admiration are what I have for Jim.

I haven’t been fortunate enought to meet any freepers yet, let alone Jim Robinson. I would sure love to, though. What I like most about Jim is his tremendous passion. I especially love his “vanity posts” when he stirs up the whole FreeRepublic family.

And, contrary to popular belief, Jim Robinson is of no relation to Elaine Robinson, from the movie The Graduate. Though he did attend the wedding.
FR is the best discussion board ever to be created for conservative/libertarian minded people, and others who oppose the big government leftist liberals on the internet.

Oh my gosh. You've GOT to find a way to go to a Freep or SOMETHING. It will renew your faith in your fellow man, if nothing else. Freepers are tremendous.
He has created a great site. What I’ve gotten over the years has been an awakening to the many threats that work ceaselessly to limit our freedoms. Life in a straight-jacket or wearing the yoke of tyranny are mere votes away from becoming reality and have been for years. Every attempt to halt or reverse it are worthy of recognition and praise.
