Just got James Taylor’s new concert DVD — one of the best I’ve ever seen, for sure. He’s doing GREAT at 60. Hilariously funny, too.

This is a “fly in the wall camera” in Stevie Nicks’ dressing room in 1981, while she was singing a raw version of what would become the title track of her 1983 album, “Wild Heart”:

Are you a Fleetwood Mac fan?
I was suprised to find that Mick Fleetwood's first wife and her sister ran with the 'big boys.'
"His ex-wife, Jenny Boyd, is the sister of Pattie Boyd, who married George Harrison and Eric Clapton. Fleetwood referred to Harrison as his brother-in-law, in his autobiography."
Eric Clapton's song Layla was about Pattie Boyd and Donovan's song Jennifer was about Jenny, Mick's wife. George Harrison had an affair with Ringo's wife. It's a wonder they didn't all get an STD, lol.
Stevie Nicks had an affair with Mick and one of their popular songs, Sara, was about it. (You never told me about the fire, etc)

If that wasn't bad enough, Ronnie James Dio, one of the godfathers of metal turns 66 this year. He's teamed back up with some of the Sabbath guys to form
Heaven and Hell.

I suppose that being in a rock band is like an incestuous sort of thing.... I did know about Stevie & Mick and about Patty Boyd with Harrison and Clapton.

In honor of the large number of hard Rock/Metal musicians on the list, I'm contributing the following. Glory in its wonder:
You can't kill the metal
The metal will live on
Punk-Rock tried to kill the metal
But they failed, as they were smite to the ground
New-wave tried to kill the metal
But they failed, as they were stricken down to the ground
Grunge tried to kill the metal Ha,hahahahaha
They failed, as they were thrown to the ground
Aargh! yaow! [x2]
[Singing]
No-one can destroy the metal
The metal will strike you down with a vicious blow
We are the vanquished foes of the metal
We tried to win for why we do not know
New-wave tried to destroy the metal, but the metal had its way
Grunge then tried to dethrone the metal, but metal was in the way
Punk-rock tried to destroy the metal, but metal was much too strong
Techno tried to defile the metal, but techno was proven wrong
Yea!
Metal!
It comes from hell!

Okay, I admit it, I've had a crush on Stevie Nicks for the past thirty years.
I had a Stevie Nicks poster on the wall about twenty years ago that my teen-age children thought was too cool. My wife never shared their enthusiasm. Go figure.
Like Stevie, I turned sixty this year. Guess it's time to move on, but thanks for the pics Silvie.
