Since I believe the theory to be true, my false positive can only be explained by the fact I did not have the right cell phone combination. I will keep trying until those kernels pop, followed by different types of Kernels.

I couldn't help but be reminded of the democratic socialist theory. The reason socialism has never worked is because it was tried by the wrong people. Keep trying until you have the right people and socialism will finally work.

I agree with the essence of what you are saying - Snopes does tend to lean left. However, Snopes is still useful for debunking this type of crazy urban legend, which has been proven false many times.

Two things come to mind:
  1. will that supposedly wonderful 3G iPhone do this? If not, what a POS! ;')
  2. seems like this capability will come in handy for Demwit delegates and those watching them.

Ya, turns out that you have to dial each of the phones to Algore’s global warming hot line. Apparently there is enough hot air on lines to pop the kernels.
