The story just tears my heart out. What was that building doing there anyway? What was San Jose doing there?

That’s the first time I’ve heard of an immature falcon getting destroyed by horrendously bad judgment.
Oh wait, I forgot about Michael Vick.

It happens, we've had at lest three birds fly into our picture window in the last two years.
One was a a Falcon able to reach speeds of 70 M.P.H
I thought he was coming through.
They got lucky, they all lived and flew away.
They were not however babies.

I hope that this isn’t a bad omen for those who are seriously attempting to create “The Falcon Party” as a conservative alternative political party.

Its amazing how this story gets the attention it does. Goes to show how isolated people have become from nature. It is a cruel mistress. The strong and lucky survive and the weak and unlucky perish. I'll bet quite a few folks have no idea how Safeway gets their steaks. People have become so removed from natural processes that they believe their food is manufactured in the back rooms of their local supermarkets.
