**the Bible is either true or not. It says six days, not six indeterminate periods of time.**
God created a ‘turn-key’ earth for Adam. The amount of time needed is minimal when one also has the ability to turn H2O into H2O, carbs, and alchohol; instantly multiply MREs (loaves & fishes), raise people that have been dead for days, etc. Oh, and of course, the supernatural experience of receiving the Holy Ghost, speaking with other tongues as the Spirit giveth the utterance. (”..thou HEAREST the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is EVERY one that is born of the Spirit”)
The wine looked like wine, tasted like wine, yet skipped the long process to become wine. Likewise, the loaves and fishes. Instantly reverse the decaying process? “Lord, by now he stinketh”.
I would much rather be a Christian wrong about creation (though I don’t believe that I am), than an atheist wrong for rejecting the Creator.
The choice is obviously yours. IF you are wrong, and your soul awakes to judgement, then what? Curious minds would like to know.
Your mistake is assuming that those who are convinced in the truth of evolution don’t believe in God. Some don’t, I suppose, but you’re condemning an entire group of people erroneously.
Many believe God, as the Creator, chose evolution as a natural mechanism to arrive at the world as it is today. Remember, evolution doesn’t try to tell us how life began; it only tells us how it changed over time.
You have accidentally hit upon the best argument for evolution. The existence of so many biological mechanisms argues against a supernatural, let alone perfect, creator. A creater unbound by nature, wouldn't need to conform to natural solutions.
I just want to know the truth.
