From the FBI file on the Weather Underground Foreign Influence documents (see FBI document (420 pages) on Weatherman Underground -- http://foia.fbi.gov/foiaindex/weather.htm).
On this webpage, the FBI states that the Weatherman (or Weather Undergound) was an organization [that] described itself as a revolutionary organization of communist men and women.
In point of fact, the Weather Underground (WUO) was a terrorist organization very sympathic to North Vietnam and Cuba during the Vietnam War.
The Weathermen were responsible for a number of bombings in the United States, and Bill Ayers was one of the key leaders of this organization.
His own girlfriend died in one of the bombings -- though it was a case of the bomb exploded in a weatherman hideout probably as it was being prepared. This particular bombing was meant to kill members of the US Military at an NCO Dance club, but instead killed members of the Weather Underground.
The FBI Documents (PDF files) mention the foreign influence on the Weatherman Organization.
Additionally, Bill Ayers was a fugitive in the 1970s such that he had his original name plus the following aliases -- according to FBI documents:
WILLIAM CHARLES AYERS, aka
Michael Joseph Raffery, Jr.
Jules Michael Taylor.
Hank Anderson
I believe it is clear that Bill Ayers could have been charged with treason, and since he helped formed the Weather Underground, he may have a responsibility in a number of bombings.
He also did recruiting for the Vanceremos Brigade, a group to help Communist Cuba.
It is unclear the number of possible charges that this person might be charged with that the statue of limitations may not have run out on.
He is an important aspect of the political life of Barrack Obama, as Obama started his political life from the home of Bill Ayers.
Another source of information on Bill Ayers is the Wikipedia link:
Bill Ayers WikiPedia link -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Ayers
I am curious how many possible crimes [that the statue of limitations have run out] and the number of possible crimes [that the statue of limitations have not run out] that this important person in the Obama Campaign could be charged with?

Title: Fugitive Days: A Memoir, Author: Bill Ayers, Beacon Press, 2001, ISBN 0807071242 (Penguin, 2003, ISBN 978-0142002551)
Note that the book by Bill Ayers supposedly contains a number of factual errors.
It is possible that the FBI has phone recordins and other materials that might implicate Bill Ayers in a number of crimes -- especially as a Domestic Terrorist.
Someone here is just a little off.

For much more on the ObamaRats and the strong communist angle in all this, i.e. the one being largely ignored by both the left AND most of the right-wing media, particularly the more popular personalities like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingram, Bill O'Reilly, etc, please check out my FR Home page. Everything there is well documented and linked directly to its source. Thanks.
If obama wins he will probably make Ayers a cabinet member like the secretary of the tresury.
It's not clear what you are saying here. Could you rephrase.
Did you see this one on Davis?

I think that during the Democratic Convention, this might show the true colors of Bill Ayers, Barrack Obama, and the current leadership of the Democratic Party...
What is wrong with pressing Congress for Department of Justice prosectution for a known terrorist?
I can barely stand to listen to Rush or Sean Hannity. I usually feel like kicking my computer or slamming the car radio.
Rush irritates me the most! He knows that Barach Obama is deeply associated with communists. He knows that the left is thoroughly infiltrated with communists. He knows that communists are thoroughly entrenched throughout our major civic institutions. He knows that communists are rooted deep into our colleges and universities, teacher unions and other unions, K-12 schools, all the arts, all left leaning political activist groups, government social agencies, and even in our Senate and legislatures.
Rush Limbaugh is a big fat weenie!!!! He is afraid that if he starts calling these people what they really are, they will turn around and accuse him of calling names.
I am exasperated!!! Rush, Sean, Bill, and Laura are smart people. They know what is going on here but they are too cowardly to call these people by name: COMMUNIST!
By the way....Great page
Sean Hannity???
For the last year's listening, I CANNOT recall any time that Sean Hannity has NOT mentioned Bill Ayres' connection with HUSSEIN obama, and you most not be listening to Rush either!!!
Interesting post!
You don't read very well, do you? I said they are not making the COMMUNIST CONNECTIONS. Not a one of them EVER get into the strong commie angle in all this. Hannity still, despite all the information available to him, only refers to Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground as "domestic terrorists" and Reverend Wright and Black Liberation Theology as "racist". BLT is a form of violent revolutionary Marxism. Limbaugh, as well, never gets into any detail on the communist groups. And you can forget about Bill O'Reilly and most of the others. O'Reilly knows squat about the communist left, although he 'unknowingly', once or twice, had on his program a leading rep for the Revolutionary Communist Party (Sunsara Taylor). Taylor was on representing the World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime organization, a known front for the RCP. Taylor writes regularly for the RCP newspaper, Revolution, and once actually appeared on Hannity and Colmes wearing a Revolutionary Communist Party Youth Brigade t-shirt! Hannity, without a clue in the world, merely asked her "what's that you're wearing" and left it at that. Taylor didn't really give an answer.
Laura Ingram interviewed Taylor once while subbing for O'Reilly and clearly had no idea who she was and/or what she was about (didn't anyone behind the scenes at FoxNews know following her appearance on H&C??). In fact, Ingram once interviewed on her radio show right around the time of the 2004 Republican convention in New York City when massive street protests were taking place, Leslie Cagan. Cagan is the national coordinator for the largest "anti-war" group in the country, United for Peace and Justice. Ingram clearly had no clue, but certainly should have, especially given the fact that the protest Cagan led drew something like 300-400,000 people. She didn't even get the name of the org correct. She called it "United for Justice and Peace". She didn't ask Cagan a thing about her longtime support for communist causes or her open admiration for Fidel Castro.
Cagan, besides being the national coordinator for UFPJ, is also the founder and chair (or at least former chair) of an org called Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. The CCDS is an old offshoot of Communist Party USA. The current co-chair of UFPJ is a woman named Judith LeBlanc. LeBlanc is vice-chair of Communist Party USA.
RNC Forecast: Severe ‘Weather’ Watch
By Thomas Ryan
FrontPageMagazine.com | Monday, August 30, 2004
In 1971, the year that John Kerry spoke before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee lending remote support to the Communists in Vietnam, another anti-war, anti-American assemblage sought to spread its Communist message by detonating a bomb in the U.S. Capitol Building. The Weather Underground, a 1970s-era violent Communist entity, in total, was responsible for the bombings of the National Guard offices in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Capitol Building, the New York City Police Headquarters, and the Pentagon. Three decades have past since the groups insidious bombing spree; however, the Weather Undergrounds hatred of America has remained, and members of the outfit have set their sights on this weeks Republican National Convention.
In an August 23, 2004 New York Post article, Stefan C. Friedman reported that extremists affiliated with the Weather Underground, who have recently been released from prison, are planning to wreak havoc at the 2004 GOP Convention in New York. Friedmans source for the information, an individual with inside knowledge of the security measures being taken at the convention, went on record as saying, These people [the Weather Underground] are trained in kidnapping techniques, bombmaking and building improvised munitions They're very bad people. Although Friedmans source withheld the names of the Weather Undergrounds associates that officials are tracking, the fanatics that have served as Weather Underground members and leaders over the years have indeed included some very bad people.
The Weather Underground started as a splinter faction of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), which is recognized as being the first group to hold an antiwar rally in Washington, D.C. in protest of the War in Vietnam. Initial members of the Weather Underground differed from SDS in their perceived means of transforming the U.S. into a Communist country, and in 1969, the group split from SDS, steered by aspirations of a more violent rebellion against the principals of America. That same year, members of the Weather Underground traveled to Havana, Cuba. During this time in Havana, makeshift camps erected by Soviet KGB Colonel Vadim Kotchergine were instructing Western radicals in the Philosophy of Karl Marx and the techniques of guerilla warfare, including bomb-making. The groups purpose for the trip to Havana was to strategize for their looming assault on America; their newly realized objective was to destroy the U.S., both physically and psychologically, by carrying out terrorist acts aimed at key landmarks the same as the 9/11 terrorists did over thirty years later. With this as their goal, the group conducted their infamous bombing raids, targeting familiar symbols of American freedom and Democracy.
Most surviving members of the group are still active in anti-American circles. Although many have spent time in jail, they are unrepentant about their violent actions.
Of her involvement in the terrorist actions of the Weather Underground, member Laura Whitehorn has said, I'm unrepentant. I'm proud of my motives. Whitehorn currently serves as a visiting college lecturer, espousing her anti-American rhetoric to suggestible students at university campuses across the country, including Cornell, Brown, and Vassar Universities. Whitehorn has said. “I don't really even care that much whether people think I'm a terrorist or not. These labels have everything to do with your own politics and not much with what the people do.” While not viewing her own activities as such, Whitehorn contrarily calls the actions of the U.S. terrorism, including the Vietnam War and the current War in Iraq.
In 1981, Whitehorns other group, the May 19th Communist Organization, viciously killed two police officers and a security guard in an armored truck robbery in New York; their goal was to secure additional funds for their own terrorist bombing campaign. From 1983 to 1985, the group bombed the National War College, the Washington Navy Yard Computing Center, the Israeli Aircraft Industries Building, New York City's South African Consulate, the Washington Navy Yard Officers’ Club, New York City's Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, and the United Stated Capitol Building. Whitehorn was arrested and convicted in the 1983 U.S. Capitol bombing. She served fourteen years in Federal prison.
Indicating her inclination for terrorism, and her subsequent abhorrence of U.S. Capitalism, Weather Underground leader Bernardine Dohrn has said, Terrorism and crime are not the main problems of today. Leveling the playing field economically should be our main concern. Dohrn is currently the director of the Legal Clinic's Children and Family Justice Center, and Clinical Associate Professor of Law at Northwestern University.
Dohrn has audaciously said to students, During your student years here, the cruelly brutal, criminal attacks of September 11, 2001, the shredded economy and loss of jobs, the consequences of deregulation and devolution that bankrupted state and local governments, the relentless punishment and imprisoning of over two million people in America, flagrant corporate plunder and criminality, rolling blackouts, the apparently permanent war on terrorism, the shock and awe occupation of Iraq, systematic and degrading detention without trial, torture and extra-judicial assassinations, and the establishment of a crescent of new U.S. military bases across the Middle East and South Asia all have transformed whatever blissful illusions were harbored as you entered college.
Dohrn also sits on the advisory board of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which pervasively masks its Communist intentions behind its incessant calls for civil liberties. ACLU co-founder, Roger Baldwin, once stated, Communism is the goal I dont regret being part of the Communist tactic. I knew what I was doing. I was not an innocent Liberal. Aside from the ACLU being steered by domestic terrorists, its recent goals have been to ardently lobby against Homeland Security measures, such as the Patriot Act, which seek to impede the influx of foreign terrorists into the United States. The lax positions on terrorism of Communist groups like the ACLU serve to demonstrate their own intentions of defeating Capitalism, by making the U.S unequivocally vulnerable to foreign threats.
Dohrns husband, Bill Ayers, also served as a leader of the Weather Underground. Ayers, who has summed up the philosophy of the group as, Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents..., is now alarmingly employed as a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and has written a number of books about parenthood, such as: A Kind and Just Parent; To Become a Teacher; City Kids, City Teachers; To Teach; and The Good Preschool Teacher.
Ayers has also written a new book that deals specifically with his life as a Weather Underground leader. In the book, which is entitled Fugitive Days, Ayers gleefully recounts his bombing spree in the early 1970s. He states, Theres something about a good bomb Night after night, day after day, each majestic scene I witnessed was so terrible and so unexpected that no city would ever again stand innocently fixed in my mind. Big buildings and wide streets, cement and steel were no longer permanent. They, too, were fragile and destructible. A torch, a bomb, a strong enough wind, and they, too, would come undone or get knocked down.
In 1970, Ayers then-girlfriend, Diana Oughton, and two other members were killed while making a bomb that they intended to use at an army dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey. If they had been successful in their murderous attempt, thousands of soldiers and their dates would have died in the bombing. Ayers admitted that the bomb would have done serious damage, tearing through windows and walls and, yes, people too.
Both Ayers and Dohrn spent the 70s fleeing from Federal prosecution. In 1980, the two surrendered to authorities, and were later released due to improper surveillance. Ayers has remarked, I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough. In his book, Fugitive Days, when pondering the prospect of ever using explosives and bombs again, Ayers states, I cant imagine entirely dismissing the possibility. Demonstrating what particularly angers him, Ayers, in a New York Times article inadvertently published on September 9, 2001, stated, Oh, I'm troubled, troubled. We're living in a country where the election [of 2000] was stolen, and we didn't have a mass uprising. It's incredible. We're all asleep. With the coming elections it remains to be seen what shape Ayers complicity may have in any mass uprising.
Regardless of how the Weather Undergrounds detestation of the U.S manifests itself at next weeks Republican convention, the group will not be alone. Other organizations are planning their own radical, aggressive protests against the Bush Administration and America in general. A31, an assemblage of various anarchist and anti-war groups, including Code Pink for Peace and the War Resisters League, is expecting thousands of participants in its civil unrest, scheduled for August 31. The group boasts, We will turn the streets of NYC into stages of resistance A wave of actions will occur around the buildings of war profiteers, Republican donors and the corporations that have hijacked our air, water, land, pensions and voice. Another group planning to hit the GOP convention en masse is United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ). UFPJ is co-chaired by Leslie Cagan, who is personally responsible for organizing millions of protestors from such organizations as the Communist Party USA, the Workers World Party, and the Socialist Workers Party in their own protests of America over the years. UFPJs rally cry for dissent at this years convention ominously reads, Together, we will send a message so powerful it cannot be ignored
In 1971, while John Kerry, speaking before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, stated, we cannot fight Communism all over the world
There is no threat. The Communists are not about to take over our McDonald hamburger stands, members of the Weather Underground were planning to bomb American buildings in the name of their Communist cause. Three decades later, and the Weather Underground is still threatening the U.S., and the Communist-apologist, John Kerry, is curiously running for President. As demonstrated through their bombings of the National Guard offices in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Capitol Building, the New York City Police Headquarters, and the Pentagon, and the continued virulence of its members, the Weather Underground has shown that the groups conspicuous hatred of America doesnt subside with time.
and who brags at the end of Fugitive Days that he is "Guilty as hell, free as a birdits a great country." W.Ayersand there it is...
Known by the company he keeps.
Thanks. My goal is to make the verifiable democrat-commie connections known to as many good folks as possible, especially since none of the popular conservative talk show hosts are doing a very good job of it.
I wish I could have said it as well as you just did!
Guilt by association?
This guy should be dealt with off line by some real patriots.
In 1958, in the case of Kent v. Dulles dealing with the travel of Americans to communist countries during the Cold War, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the right to travel is an inherent element of liberty that the government can regulate but cannot abridge in terms of U.S. constitutional rights. A few years later, because of the Castro regimes ties to the Soviet Union, the Kennedy administration announced a total embargo on trade with Cuba. As a result, travel became regulated by the Department of Treasury as the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued a set of prohibitions which effectively banned travel by prohibiting any financial transactions with Cuba.
Throughout the 1960s and 70s, however, many citizens, especially students, resisted the ban by traveling to Cuba. Notably, since 1969, the Venceremos (We Shall Overcome) Brigade has sent several thousand United States citizens to Cuba to participate in work projects as an act of solidarity with Cuba and of resistance to the United States government. When President Carter lifted the travel ban in 1977 by issuing a general license for travel-related transactions for those visiting Cuba, Guild, at the front of the Cuba travel industry, sent the first unrestricted group to the island.
After a decade, when the embargo had not produced the hardline Cuban exile communitys desired effect on the Castro regime, terrorist organizations such as Omega 7 and CORU were formed. These terrorist groups attempted to frighten travelers and cripple the Cuba travel and tourism industry by placing bombs and carrying out assassinations of travel advocates. In the late 1970s, Omega 7, a terrorist organization founded in the U.S. by veterans of the Bay of Pigs invasion, assassinated Eulalio Jose Negrin, a Cuban activist in Union City, New Jersey and Felix Garcia Rodriguez, a Cuban diplomat assigned to the Cuban Mission to the United Nations.
Since 1969, thousands of Americans have resisted U.S. policy on travel to Cuba by joining the efforts of the Venceremos Brigade
Bombings directed at those who advocated travel between the U.S. and Cuba took place throughout the 1970s and 80s. Former CIA operatives, including Orlando Bosch, founded the CORU terrorist organization, which soon became involved in more than 50 bombings. These acts included the bombing of the Miami International Airport in 1975 (later attributed to Bay of Pigs veteran Rolando Otero Hernandez) and the bombing of a Cubana Airlines flight.

from left to right: Senator Bob Menendez, Senator Barack Obama, Governor Jon Corzine
Flashback to 1987
Mayor aided murderer Menendez glad to help an 'innocent man'
Hudson Dispatch
Wednesday, October 7, 1987
By Douglas Lavin
UNION CITY Mayor Robert Menendez has contributed funds for a convicted Cuban-American terrorist and murderer who was the kingpin of Omega 7.
Menendez, the city's first Cuban-American mayor, said he supports the use of violence and breaking the rule of law in the fight for a free Cuba, but also said his contribution made at a Friday fund-raiser was intended only to supply Eduardo Arocena with legal counsel.
"I endorse the fact that there are times when what one looks at as a law at a given time has to be broken," Menendez said, adding that the fight should be carried out "wherever the enemy may be."
Bernard F. Kenny, Menendez's Democratic running mate in the Assembly race to represent North Hudson's 33rd District, also was at the dinner, but said yesterday he did not know the event was a fundraiser or was linked to terrorists.
Kenny said public officials have an obligation to uphold the law.
"I think any public official has to take a strong stance on that," he said.
Jose O. Arango, the Cuban-born Republican assemblyman who is opposing Menendez and Kenny, said he would contribute to Arocena's legal defense if asked. Arango said he did not endorse illegal activity in the United State, but said he would contribute money to help ensure "an innocent man is not convicted."
Menendez took a similar stance and said Arocena needed a new trial because he did not have proper legal counsel during his trial.
Micahel L. Tabak, the asssitant U.S. attorney who was in charge of the prosecution, siad Arocena rejected a free, court appointed attorney from own of Manhattan's best law firms and instead chose two of his own attorneys, who represented him during the trial.
"The record is clear that Arocena was represented by counsel," Tabak said.
Arocena, a former New Jersey longshoreman, was convicted in 1984 of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy bombings and perjury.
In December 1985, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan denied an appeal, calling the government's case, which included 85 witnesses and "copius" physical evidence, "overwhelming and impressive."
The court also called Arocena the "kingpin" of Omega 7 and said the group financed its crimes of bombings and murder through drug trade and extortion.
Since 1973, Omega 7 has claimed responsibility for more that 30 terror bombings in New York, New Jersey and Miami. The bombings have targeted such groups as a pharmacy in Union City that sent medicine to Cuba and local travel agencies that booked flights for Cuban emigres to return to Cuba to visit their families.
Arocena was found guilty in November 1984 of 25 of 26 counts. He was convicted of organizing the murder of a Cuban attache in Queens and arranging bombings at Cuban, Soviet, Venezuelan, Mexican, and Nicaraguan missions in New York and Miami as well as at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan and John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens.
Menendez said that as a public official he has an obligation to uphold the law here, but that he also has a responsibility "to listen to the people, if it is their belief collectively that this is a good man."
"I don't look at it that I am supporting 'a murderer,'" Menendez said, "I look on it that I am supporting a goal, which is the liberation of Cuba."
--------------------------------------------------
Menendez and Obama have a lot in common, including questions as to where and when they were actually born.
Menendez even has his hands in voter fraud, just like Obama - 1997.
I am listening. I ***RARELY** hear the word communist coming from Rush. Yes, he does point out Obama’s association with Ayers, but there is much more to this problem of communism in the U.S. than puny little Ayers!

Communists are thoroughly entrenched in every government agency, our schools, the arts, and all social welfare agencies. They are even in our legislatures!

FrontPageMagazine.com | Wednesday, January 04, 2006:
"when I was getting ready to leave [Bill] Ayers told me I couldnt go until I slept with his roommate and his brother. At this point Bill and I had slept together just once. I was sexually inexperienced, having had only one serious boyfriend with whom I had recently broken up. At first I thought Ayers was joking. I got up; and went to the door. He moved quickly to block me at the doorway. He locked the door and put the chain on it. I went to the couch and sat down and told him that I had no intention of having sex with his roommate and his brother or him. He said that I had no choice but to do as he said if I wanted to get out of there. He claimed that I wouldnt sleep with his married roommate because he was black -- that I was a bigot. I got up from the couch and walked over to the black roommates bed and put myself on it and he ****** me. I went totally out of my body. I floated beside myself on the outside and above the bed looking at this black stranger **** me angrily while I hated myself."

Exactly!
And...It is the Communists in the California legislature who want to do this.
It is time we called these people what that are: COMMUNISTS!
They are not “liberal”. They are not “leftist”, or “progressive”. They are and always have been COMMUNISTS!
I know that Rush Limbaugh has this figured out. He is just too much of a weenie to call these people by their true name.
That might explain why Biden said that he and Obama both had AIDS tests.

“There, I said it!!!”
But it isn't at all clear in most Americans' minds that the Weather Underground were in fact communist revolutionaries. The MSM certainly doesn't say it (not then, not now), and neither does Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly or anyone else on FoxNews. Hannity merely refers to them as "domestic terrorists". That is all he ever says about them, aside from the fact that they bombed the Pentagon, U.S. Capitol and New York City police headquarters. Same thing with Reverend Wright and his Black Liberation Theology. Yet the Weather Underground were actually allied with the Black Liberation Movement in an attempted communist overthrow of the U.S. government! Talk about failing to make the connections! Wake up already Sean Hannity!!!

Also, there is **far** more to the problem of communism in the U.S. than Ayers! There are Marxists thoroughly entrenched in every social institution of the U.S. except the military! In the meantime cowardly Rush continues to call them “leftists”. Wow! I am so unimpressed!
What is wrong with pressing Congress for Department of Justice prosecution for a known terrorist? ....because Teddy and the majority of now congresscritters supported, if not encouraged, him.
There are Marxists thoroughly entrenched in every social institution of the U.S. except the military! UMMMMM.... don’t believe THAT, Kemosabe.

Human Rights Campaign
Henry Harry Hay, the founder of the modern American gay movement, died on October 24, 2002 at age 90.
(snip)
Hay devoted his entire life to progressive politics, and in 1950 founded a state-registered foundation network of support groups for gays known as the Mattachine Society.
(snip)
Hay was also a co-founder, in 1979, of the Radical Faeries, a movement affirming gayness as a form of spiritual calling. A rare link between gay and progressive politics
(snip)
Harry was one of the first to realize that the dream of equality for our community could be attained through visibility and activism, said David M. Smith of the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, DC. When you were in a room with him, you had the sense you were in the company of a historic figure.
(snip)
Mattachine took its name from a group of medieval dancers who appeared publicly only in mask, a device well understood by homosexuals of the 1950s. Hay devised its secret cell structure (based on the Masonic order) to protect individual gays and the nascent gay network. Officially co-gender, the group was largely male -- the Daughters of Bilitis, the pioneering lesbian organization, formed independently in San Francisco in 1956.
(snip)
Though some criticized the Mattachine movement as insular, it grew to include thousands of members in dozens of chapters, which formed from Berkeley to Buffalo, and created a lasting national framework for gay organizing. Mattachine set the stage for rapid civil rights gains following 1969s Stonewall riots in New York City.

Excerpt:
As a spy chief and a general in the former Soviet satellite of Romania, I produced the very same vitriol Kerry repeated to the U.S. Congress almost word for word and planted it in leftist movements throughout Europe. KGB chairman Yuri Andropov managed our anti-Vietnam War operation. He often bragged about having damaged the U.S. foreign-policy consensus, poisoned domestic debate in the U.S., and built a credibility gap between America and European public opinion through our disinformation operations. Vietnam was, he once told me, "our most significant success."
The KGB organized a vitriolic conference in Stockholm to condemn America's aggression, on March 8, 1965, as the first American troops arrived in south Vietnam. On Andropov's orders, one of the KGB's paid agents, Romesh Chandra, the chairman of the KGB-financed World Peace Council, created the Stockholm Conference on Vietnam as a permanent international organization to aid or to conduct operations to help Americans dodge the draft or defect, to demoralize its army with anti-American propaganda, to conduct protests, demonstrations, and boycotts, and to sanction anyone connected with the war. It was staffed by Soviet-bloc undercover intelligence officers and received about $15 million annually from the Communist Party's international department on top of the WPC's $50 million a year, all delivered in laundered cash dollars. Both groups had Soviet-style secretariats to manage their general activities, Soviet-style working committees to conduct their day-to-day operations, and Soviet-style bureaucratic paperwork. The quote from Senator Kerry is unmistakable Soviet-style sloganeering from this period. I believe it is very like a direct quote from one of these organizations' propaganda sheets.
The KGB campaign to assault the U.S. and Europe by means of disinformation was more than just a few Cold War dirty tricks. The whole foreign policy of the Soviet-bloc states, indeed its whole economic and military might, revolved around the larger Soviet objective of destroying America from within through the use of lies. The Soviets saw disinformation as a vital tool in the dialectical advance of world Communism.
The Stockholm conference held annual international meetings up to 1972. In its five years of existence it created thousands of "documentary" materials printed in all the major Western languages describing the "abominable crimes" committed by American soldiers against civilians in Vietnam, along with counterfeited pictures. All these materials were manufactured by the KGB's disinformation department. I would print up these materials in hundreds of thousands of copies each.
The Romanian DIE (Ceausescu's secret police) was tasked to distribute these KGB-concocted "incriminating documents" all over Western Europe. And ordinary people often bought it hook, line, and sinker. "Even Attila the Hun looks like an angel when compared to these Americans," a West German businessman reprovingly told me after reading one such report.
The Italian, Greek, and Spanish Communist parties serviced by Bucharest were much affected by this material and their activists regularly distributed translations. They also handed them out to the participants at anti-American demonstrations around the world.
Many "Ban-the-Bomb" and anti-nuclear movements were KGB-funded operations, too. I can no longer look at a petition for world peace or other supposedly noble cause, particularly of the anti-American variety, without thinking to myself, "KGB."

And now here, compare:
In October and again in November 1969 Clinton organized and led anti-war demonstrations in London, England with the support of the British Peace Council, which was backed by the World Peace Council who was a front for the KGB.
