Dear Friend, (I'm not your friend)
In the past you have served as a valued and trusted member of our Party. (only when we need your vote and your donation)
Yet today only 12 weeks from the most critical elections our nation has faced in decades the RNC's records indicate that you still remain on the sidelines (who said I was on the sidelines?) and have yet to respond to appeals to stand with us in our fight to prevail over the Obama Democrats.
I am asking you to please get involved NOW.
The Obama Democrats and their left-wing special interest allies have come together in a united front, combining their enormous fundraising arsenal. (I thought campaign finance was already reformed by...YOU!) And the national Democrats led by Chairman Howard Dean are stepping up their cynical campaign of distortions and outright lies, and with the help of organizations like MoveOn.org, are raising staggering amounts of money. (unintended consequences not so good for you, eh?)
The last thing we Republicans (I'm an independent...a maverick...just like YOU!) can afford is to have our hands tied behind our backs due to the fact that the Democrat candidate broke his promise to the American people and refused to accept the presidential campaign spending limit which means they will have no limit as to what they can raise and spend.
Everything you and I believe in is on the line in this election. That is why I urgently need (this coming from the man who married a wealthy woman and has multiple houses) you to return an Emergency 2008 Membership Contribution of $100, $50, or even $25.
I would not ask you for your help if the circumstances were not so dire. But the alarming truth is, if the Obama Democrats win the White House and retain control of Congress, they will have total control of the federal government. That means you and your family will face a future of higher taxes (carbon credits, anyone? Oh wait, you sponsored them too!), more government spending (which you failed to stop), socialized medicine, a tried-and-failed energy policy (again, you failed to do anything about this), and surrender in Iraq.
From this point in time forward in order to get out our message of truth (since when do politicians speak truthfully?) to all Americans, register historic numbers of voters, and remain competitive in every state and every district, we must match the Democrats' fundraising efforts. And we cannot do this we cannot fight back against the Democrats and their liberal allies (yeah, no thanks to your repeated acts of "crossing the aisle") without your immediate help.
Today I will hope you will stand with us in this struggle by rushing an Emergency (can we say desperate?) Membership Contribution of $100, $50, or even $25 to RNC Victory 2008 as soon as you possibly can. Thank you for your steadfast support of our Party and our country.
Sincerely,
John McCain
P.S. I'm counting (you're not the only maverick around here, Juan!) on your immediate help to strengthen our Republican Party efforts in the critical days and weeks ahead. Please make an Emergency 2008 Membership Contribution of at least $25 and rush it back to RNC Victory 2008 today. Thank you.
“What about Kay Bailey Hutchinson??”
See tagline.
I threw the GOP $$$ letter in the shreader and sent in my life membership to the NRA....
Haven't you heard, you communist slime ball, "Ask now what John McCain can do for you, ask what you can do for John McCain!" Or, to paraprhase Monica Goodling, "What is it about John McCain that makes you want to serve him?"
History has shown that no nation has ever taxed its way to economic prosperity....
I want to help elect Republicans who will fight to strengthen border security.
Our Republican agenda stands in stark contrast to that of the Obama Democrats who are rallying behind a tired, failed agenda of creeping socialism....
And they dare ask me for money.
How about a bunch of monopoly money? You can tell them it’s every bit as genuine as McCain is.

Even from the Lib POV he’s full of chit.
wow, the libs are against McCain, call the media this is real news, maybe you should post this in the breaking news section also.
Let me reiterate. I’m not voting in the 2008 presidential election.
Why should I vote for someone I do not respect?
SCOTUS appointment
And I as I have said before you have every right not to pick, don’t worry we will pick one for you.
If you can get away with voting for me, by all means, proceed. (just don’t tell me who you voted for. LOL!)
“SCOTUS appointment”
You must be joking? Can you really see him choosing a Conservative for the bench?
It’s a crap shoot, some have turned out not so hot, while others have been spot on, but what I know FOR SURE is the odds drop dramtically if the ObamaNation is allowed to choose 1 or more.
You’re right, it is a crap shoot. A guy who’s too far left and one who’s not far enough right.
Actions speak louder than words.
so go do something, instead of writing words
Who says I haven’t? McCain has said one thing and done another.
