Vanity: First impressions of Palin speech

Posted on 09/03/2008 9:38:12 PM PDT by djl_sa

My initial observations from channel surfing MSNBC, CNN, and FOX is that they all agree that Palin did extremely well. I'm guessing they are now concerned...

Wow. Just wow. I want each of my daughters to grow up to be just like her.

I really hope that McCain decides to serve only one term, so that I can vote for Sarah Palin for President in 2012.

The greatest measure of how well she did tonight will be the level of vitriol that will be directed against her tomorrow and in the coming days. The liberals believe that Palin is the most evil Republican and the greatest threat to their liberal causes since Reagan.

The slime that they have flung so far is nothing compared to what is going to come. The Democrats and the MSM wing of the Democrat party are going to be frantic tomorrow. They will look like a pool of starving piranhas.

I love the smell of liberal flop sweat in the morning. It smells like ... Victory!

The MSM are now coordinating their next attack strategy on Palin. The WashPost will have front page hit piece on “Troopergate”. The trooper she fired tasered his 10yr old stepson and threatened to put a bullitt in Palins father. He should have been put in jail and not just fired. The MSM will not report why he was fired.

He wasn't fired. That's why it continued to be a concern, after Palin took office as Governor.

I thought she did very well, but knew she did once the talking heads came on. Even Wolfson said the picture of her on stage with the baby was fantastic.

Greta looked a little upset. She was on with Laura, and was leaning back in her chair and looked a little white. She tried to interject “how questions remain” without giving away too much. Sort of silent for her.

I bet Olbermann goes home and kicks the cat.

Although I have to say that Keith O. guy can be a jerk. I like to watch the speeches and then listen to what the opposition has to say... during Huckabee’s speech he found it necessarry to point out two errors... one was on who founded the Republican party... All I was thinking was “does this guy just like hearing himself talk?”

Olbermann is a good at reciting what other people think and claiming it as his own (once it is reduced to monosyllabic words.) The fact that he’s a bigshot at MSNBC shows that their talent pool is about as deep as the bullpen of an 8th grade intra-mural baseball team.

Brokaw is a shadow of himself, it’s rather sad actually.

BELOW IS AN ACTUAL PUMA COMMENT ON THE PUMA WEB SITE

“Palin was _great_. Can’t say I’d vote for her, but she was great & tonight was way better than anything Denver offered America last week. favorite aside moment: when her daughter combed over the baby’s hair w/her hand (spit on her hand first), too dang cute…”

unquote...
I think Sarah made a huge impression.
