I one time in the not to distance past I wrote a note that I put on a computer “don’t use till tomorrow”. I had just finished a re-image and was downloading some software. It would download the last part after hours when band width wasn’t a concern. I wonder if they ever used that computer?

You don't have to to tell me! "Life is good if you don't need..." is sufficient. But it takes a lot for many folks to come to understand that -- learning to appreciate the small things isn't easy in this culture.

I dunno. To me it looks like a monostable multivibrator with a fixed “active” duration before relapse into the steady state — a.k.a. “one-shot.” But that's just an engineering take on the matter...
