Vanity: Anyone seen Oliver Stone's "W" preview?

Just...wow. I just saw a commercial for this horrid-looking flick. Is this supposed to be a comedy or a satire? Surely it is not a serious film. The acting looks horrendous - like some kind of low-rent high school production. What is the scoop on this deal?

Quentin Tarantino’s story for Natural Born Killers was raped by Oliver Stoned.
A lot of the same techniques are used in the filmmaking of Kill Bill but it comes together far better.
NBK came across as a bad knock off of John Waters’ Pink Flamingos (and the ending seems like a direct ripoff).

Michael Moron's lastest
miserable failure wasn't even released to theaters, it went straight to the web. Well 2 years after it was finished and shelved it was recut and released to the web.

Hollywood can afford to lose money on these movies. They have 75 years of talkies to sell on cable and dvd.
The vast majority of those films SHOULD be in the public domain because of the LIMITED timeframe of copyright afforded creators but Big Media lobbyists own Congress.

I found the use of Amazing Grace is really great, although I'm aware Stone perhaps uses it to mock the 'backward' Christians. I really didn't realize it's a movie about Dubya until the end of the trailer.
The one that's even more ridiculous is Ron Howard's Frost/Nixon. When I saw the trailer, I thought it's a skit from SNL.
