...The hadal snailfish...are found below 3.7 miles...in total darkness, near-freezing temperatures and immense water pressure.

They feed on the thousands of tiny shrimp-like creatures that scavenge the carcasses of dead fish and detritus reaching the ocean floor.

I went to a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles and after several bottles of sake and some ordinary sushi, the chefs thought they would play with the two round-eyed boys. They started bringing out stuff that was still wiggling, sliced it up and served it with raw quail’s eggs broken over the top.
