Should I kick my gf/former fiance of four years out? She is a total obama supporter and plans to vote accordingly. In fact, she is pretty much a partisan hack. Not only that but I have several Noam Chomsky books occupying space on my bookshelf.
This is _YOUR_ opportunity to surpress the vote. Just make she can’t get to the polls today. Sabotage the car, shut off the water heater, invent a crisis of some sort, etc. Do what you have to do. ;)
Buy her a nice dinner, wine and dine her tonight. Treat her to a sympathy **** or a congratulatory **** tonight. Take Viagra and make sure it lasts all night. Kick her out in the morning. Tell yourself you know you did the right thing.

How can you deal with that? In addition to her leftism, she would also believe the leftist mantras on social reconstruction, economic equalization and socialism.
That’s not a basis for a good relationship if your beliefs are contrary to hers.
I’ve been married for almost 50 years, same guy(!), similar outlook in life, many hobbies together, close, but not the exact same political tenets.
I can’t imagine a worse hell than living with someone who dispises my thoughts and outlook.

My Aunt is cutting her 23 yr old grandson out of her will because he’s an Obamabot.
His late grandfather (my uncle) was an Air Force captain who was shot down during the Korean war, evaded capture, and made it back to the south. She’s refusing to allow any of his legacy to be bequeathed ‘to a communist supporter’...in her words.

Other than what you posted, we know absolutely nothing about you and your girlfriend’s relationship. Dump her, don’t dump her, it’s up to you. But asking people who don’t know you to give you advice on a situation they have no real information on is, frankly, strange.
If this is is how you make important life decisions, I think your girlfriend might be better off without you.
YES! It’s clear that when it comes to basic beliefs you have nothing in common, the most fundamental aspect of any relationship. Curious as to why it would take you four years to beginning thinking this critically about differences in shared beliefs.

My son dated a liberal for 2 years. It turned out that her “love” for him was a lie. When a liberal lies he/she speaks his/her native language. She broke his heart big time when she found someone online and moved away.
