The tree is done...all the candles are in the windows, the wreath is on the front porch and a little lighted wall tree is by the kitchen door. Fixed candle rings on all that needed it and set out a few of my Christmas things. I feel good about what I have accomplished but I am almost dead~~~LOL~~~!

I am serious whether I will do this again next year. It breaks my heart but with the stairs, I am up and down all the time while I’m decorating and its overwhelming sometimes. We will just see. May be time to pass the torch!

After your nap, did you do some more? I had to take a nap too. But thats okay. I do what my body says.Nice thread today, Meg. Lots of Holiday Celebrations today.

Good Job!
I did not try to decorate today..I have the china cabinet and buffet done and the lights and swag on the bookcase cabinet top, unfinished as far as adding decor..
I have just begun..no rush..I cleaned the ceiling fan over my bed yesterday and that in itself is a job!It’s white and the blades allow for no missing a spot.
I have a smaller home and what I do isn’t so demanding.
So far the kittens haven’t bothered anything so tomorrow my Christmas Angels come out...but high in the bookcase for the German ones.

I would be in pretty good shape if my back didn’t bother me so much. Seems everything I do brings it on. Sometimes the Aleve does me very little good.

Yes, I believe the German angels should be placed up high. The kitties can’t get there, can they?

When we bought our home years ago.....I never realized that I would get older, my husband would die, and it would be left for me to do it all. Isn’t it strange when you’re so young, those thoughts never enter one’s mind. Guess its a good thing.
