Barack Obama still claims little or no connection to Bill Ayers and Kathy Boudin, despite launching one of his capmaigns in their home. Ayers and Boudin say they were just protesting and they never meant to hurt anyone. Many of us know this to be a lie. I suggested a source, a book title Chief! written by Albert Seedman and Peter Hellman. Seedman was the Chief of New York City Detectives on Friday, March 6th, 1970, when the townhouse at 18 West 11th Street exploded. These accounts of the explosion and the investigation come from those directly involved. The book was printed in 1975.
This excerpt comes from pages 170-171. New York City Police Detective Pete Perotta was checking the contents of a bucket crane as it pulled debris from the remains of the townhouse on Tuesday, March 11th. The unnamed crane operator worked for Consolidated Edison, New York City's public utlity. They had already found part of a human corpse that day.
Nothing but the usual debris came up in the next three hours, and Perotta was congratulating himself that his prediction was apparently correct. The bad part was over. The little crane operator actually looked quite chipper when, at the stroke of five o’clock, he pointed to his watch. Quitting time.
“One more bite!” shouted an irritated Perotta, who as a detective had never quit work simply because it was a certain hour.
The bucket splashed down a full seven feet into the black water over a spot just behind the front of the old foundation. It came up with the usual clutch of debris, except that between the teeth was a dull gray globe about the size of a basketball. For the second time that day, Perotta held up his hand. Moving closer, he noticed what appeared to be nail points bristling just under the surface of the globe. The whole effect reminded Perotta of the oranges his mother used to spike all over with cloves and hang on the Christmas tree. Then Perotta realized that other mud encased protuberances on the surface were blasting caps.
He felt a quick thrust of pure fear. A nose away, patted into this big ball, was enough dynamite to blow away half the block.
The crane operator was again beside him, peering between the teeth.
“Oh God. Is that the . . . missing head?”
“Don’t worry,” said Perotta. “It’s only the guts of about forty sticks of dynamite. You picked it up like one big goddam cupcake.”
Saucer-eyed and silent, the operator backed up to the sidewalk on tiptoe, as if a normal footfall would be disastrous. As he raced off, Perotta knew that this time it was for good. He shut off the crane’s ignition himself and called for the Bomb Squad.
The street now evacuated, detective technicians studied the dynamite ball hanging a few feet over the pavement. To Seedman the thing looked as ominous as a harbor mine. The detectives laid it into a cushioned steel box as gently as a babe and carried it into their special truck, armored with sixteen layers of steel mesh.
“No matter what we put in here,” said the driver, “I always felt that if we hit a big bump or picked up a freak radio transmission, this old truck would hold it all in. But with this baby, I’m not so sure.”

While you're at it Moderator, can you check the entire article for errors. Bill Ayers is married to Bernadette Dorhn, not Katherine Boudin. This article appears to have multiple errors. This creates a very series problem.
Boudin actually went to prison for her role in the Brinks job. Ayers and Dorhn have two adult children and shared legal guardianship of Chesa Boudin, son of Boudin and David Gilbert, also in the Weather Under ground and sent to prison for the Brinks robbery/murder.
Oops. I always screw her up with Dorhn. Ayers comes later. Boudin will figure in in another post, her communications claim intention to extreme violence, not the peacable crap that Dorhn and Ayers claimed. But I’ll get to that tommorrow.
I get a little bleary-eyed from posting as well. I read the entire post and everything else is good. We just need to make sure Freerepublic.com cannot be discredited by misstating facts.
Good then he will have no reason the fire the U.S. Attorney for the Northern California District -- if he does fire the U.S. Attorney then IMO it proves that Obama is lying.
"Last fall [2003], according to law enforcement sources, San Francisco police turned over its evidence to the US attorney, who took over the investigation."
The investigation is still ongoing the last time I checked for news articles.
