Police Come Across Fogged Up SUV On Elementary School Grounds In Baldwin; Residents Shocked, Horrified

BALDWIN, N.Y. (CBS) ― A prominent PTA official is facing some serious allegations involving a teenage boy.

Police arrested Joan Tuckruskye after allegedly finding her in the backseat of a parked car with a 13-year-old boy on Friday night. Both of them, police said, were partially unclothed.

"I feel devastated for the victim," said "Steve," the suspect's neighbor.

His son attends school with both the alleged victim and suspect's daughter, and is outraged over charges that Tuckruskye, vice president in charge of fundraising for the school, endangered the welfare of a 13-year-old boy.

"I'm shocked because she has children. Yes, she has children," he said.

"I've known them for 22 years. My children are friends with hers. I feel sick," added "Lisa," another neighbor of the suspect.

It was in the rear of the elementary school parking lot where patrolling officers said they noticed the foggy and steamed windows of an SUV. They approached and knocked on the window.

"They observed a woman in her 40s and a boy who appeared to be a teenager. They were not clothed from the waist down," said Lt. Kevin Smith of the Nassau County Police Department.

At first, police said, the boy said he was 18. Later at the hospital, though, he admitted being 13 but claimed he and the PTA mom were only kissing.

The Baldwin School District issued a statement, saying the District "is cooperating fully...and is working to maintain a normal and calm school environment for all students while police investigate."

The investigation is ongoing. If it's determined that a sexual act took place, charges could be upgraded from a misdemeanor to a felony.

you are married not dead, and like fine art, the human form is attractive visually. That said, that is not love. Love cannot be visually motivated. It is the everyday choice, yes, choice one makes to get up and decide to love, honor, cherish that one person you promised to, even when you know his/her warts. I know you got it :) taste improves with age

I agree with you ladies. I’m 42 and my husband is 46, and I think he’s getting better (in many ways :-) every year. And when I’m in the mood for eye candy, I’m looking at over-50’s. (Like James Morrison. TVGuide has a new set of pictures up; nobody should be allowed to be that hot.)

I am 42. I hope I don’t look that old.

I'm 55 and I assure you I don't.

(OTOH, I'm a guy. Nobody cares.)

Sorry for asking but could someone explain the use of “guilty” and “not guilty” when commenting on a photo? Thanks

It dates back to a classic FR thread on convictions rates of ugly people vs conviction rates of good looking people.

IIRC it was the HOT Florida child molesting woman getting off that sparked the guilty/not guilty running joke.

Don’t male teachers do this any more?

Every year there are fewer and fewer male teachers.

Who wants to risk being falsely accused?

Women may be initiating it more but not necessarily because they think they can do better. But because they find out hubby has someone on the side.

My cousin's husband just split after 22 years of marriage. He is buying a new place with the girlfriend just 2 months after leaving her. So I can only assume it was going on for quite a while.

My next door neighbor's husband was dating her best friend behind her back. She only found out when she found a love letter. He ended up marrying the best friend.

He was willing to hang around until all his plans were firmed up. Didn't have the courage to leave right away. Same with my cousin's husband. They don't want to miss a week of someone cooking their meals and washing their clothes.

I could go on and on.

And sorry about your wife. But good for you.

If I weren’t married you’d be a boy after my heart (going by your profile)

Nully is a treasure and should be given lots of Guinness and kittens.

Have three kitties in my house right now. I’ve heard Guiness is more edible than drinkable.

That’s why you give the Guinness and kittens to others!

I’ll get right on that. My husband will be thrilled too say bye to the kitty cats. On second thought, I’d miss my Shadow, who waits until my husband leaves, the jumps on my bed so I’ll pet her and she can give me kitty kisses. (I should post pictures some day on here)

My husband is happy now that we have the greyhound - finally, a pet who likes him!

Those stories reminded me of another one. This guy tried to commit suicide (garage, car running, etc) but was not successful. Told the family he was devastated because he had lost all the family money (millions) gambling. The entire family gets behind him, and they start going to gamblers anonymous, counseling (the family, not him).

It turns out he doesn’t have a gambling problem in the traditional sense. He had a girlfriend. He gave the girlfriend the money to hold until he went through a divorce. The girlfriend took off and married someone else. Nice guy.

My labrador loves my husband and is most grateful when he gets patted on the head by him. The kitties like him (exept for the mommy cat), he just doesn’t like them.
