How many "if not all" voted for Obama and believes in Globall Warming.
Do they still believe in Globall Warming, is the issue.

QB did the right thing IMO. If the peons don't like it, LEAVE!
Isn't what some here say about Radio? If you don't like it, don't listen?

Except Barry won’t deign to don a sweater or set the WH at 68 degrees like Jimmah Carter. King Hussein and Queen ‘Chelle will be dressed in ermine as they tell the commoners to freeze for the benefit of the planet.

>>>“The beatings will continue until morale improves”.<<<

A friend gave me a cap with the inscription: The beatings will continue until crew morale improves"

My guess is it originated in the British Navy...circa 1700 or before. I wear the cap every time we leave the dock with a new crew member.

My guess is she wouldn't know a progammable thermostat from a pizza pan. She probably doesn't own the building so has no say about the thermostat.

I think your overanalyzing. She's a first class....bad employer.

...read "bitzh" for "bad employer".

I didn’t read the full article...didn’t have to...The guy who owns the business has every right to turn the heat off if he wants to. The employees have the right to quit.

That's not really what the article was about. It was mostly just an interesting story about what a jackass one employer is. Whether or not he had the right to be such was barely a footnote, but go ahead and defend him if you feel so obligated.

Beatings for even small infractions were common in 18th and 19th century military forces, including the US. I don’t know why they came about to the extent they did and when they abruptly stopped.

“OK, you’se delivery guys don’t like it?”

These are not “delivery guys”. They are the employees that work in the store taking orders and making the pizzas. I’m sure there are health codes against wearing mittens and gloves when handling food.

“There is more to it.”

I have stepped into businesses and meet small business owners that you could tell were the type that strove to be cheap and ultra frugal for the sake of doing so. There drive to be cheap was so much that they were blinded by the fact that their behavior was causing an inverse affect on their revenue and thus losing money. But they couldn’t see that, but only saw that they were losing money and felt they had to cut even more costs.

I have one that is most likely a closet man-hater, unless the man in question is in power or has something. As for me, the only guy, almost never a kind word/bit of encouragement. Some days I would take being fired as a relief.

I get jumped on for being sociable and treating the percieved lesser ones as people, almost written up even. There is a lot of snobbery. However it is OK for the half-ton hen's club to cluck for up to an hour.

After almost two years of mood swings, temper tantrums, bizarre behavior, and male bashing, I have had it. I am applying for just about anything. I used to love computers but after this, I almost regret touching one sometimes.

“Even 55 is too cold. Start delivering cold pizza and I’ll bet they start to care.”

Seriously.

An outdoor job is one thing but inside it is not acceptable. After you are in 55 degrees it gets very cold and you tend to suck up and not want to do much because your fingers feel stiff and you become impatient. What business wants their staff like that. Pizza is very competitive and customers will go where it is a friendly experience. Plus who wants food prepared by people wearing long sleeves dragging through the ingredients?

What I am defending is a business owners right to do as he pleases with HIS business, without the nanny state’s interference.

I suggest you Google the employee practices of Henry Ford against the Dodge brothers; you may learn something.
