Received in a Yahoo group email from a former commander. Don't know if it's been referenced before.

There’s a lotta there there. Some of the links are defunct but that’s the nature on the net.

Its not definitive, but its the best all-in-one-place I've seen so far.
I even found an ol Mohawk driver that I knew that had posted on an OV-1 forum link. Sent him an email. Darn address was 11 yrs old so I'm not holding my breath - but we'll see.

IIRC, that was the aircraft parked at An Khe in '66, '67. Parked as in grounded. I think that was because the Army tried to use them as an armed, fixed-wing aircraft, a role reserved for the Air force.

There was some experimentation using them as an attack platform. They were a quick a/c - somewhat over-powered actually. There was some lows-speed maneuverability issues that had to be dealt with. They bolted on a machine gun to one of the wing stations...it did not work all that well. One of the links goes to an OV-1 portal that has some pics of that ill-fated exercise.
BTW, the email came back as 'undeliverable.' Oh well, its been a long time.
