Trouble on the Czecho-Slovak-Hungarian-Carpatho-Ukraine front. The map of Europe had a short shelf life during this period.

Damn, this keeps happening. I wondered what the hell the Hungarians did to piss off the Czechs today!

To describe that corner of the world as “chaotic” at the time would give one an impression of there being more order than actually existed.
More after-effects from the break up of the Habsburg Empire.

In a couple of months, Hungary will resolve the problem by taking over all of Ruthenia—but will eventually lose it to the Soviet Union, where it would remain until Ukraine’s independence.

. . . where it would remain until Ukraines independence.Which may not last far into Barak Hussein "Neville" Obama's term of office. Once Vlady Putin gets a load of the new administration he may just decide to stage a return of Russia's borders to the old Soviet Union configuration.

"Briton will ask Mussolini to use influence with Hitler to aid Jews' plight." How did that go, anyway?

Sounds like a German peacekeeping force is needed in the area.
