Wednesday nights is American Rifleman, Shooting USA, Cowboys SASS shooters,Guns and Ammo TV, Self Defense TV, etc etc .....about 4 hours of guns and fun on channel 606 ....enjoy !!

Bill Jordan ALREADY established that! You could not fire a COCKED handgun already pointing at him faster than he could draw and fire! He proved it in Court, using blanks.

I think this is the guy I saw doing a demo at a small gun store in National City in the early ‘80s. Scary fast!

He's holding the trigger down, and "fanning the hammer back with his off-hand (notice the heavy glove on his off-hand...) This is part of what makes him so fast...

I think the gun is modified, so that when you draw you hold down on the trigger thus allowing the hammer to be freely moved. The other hand just slams down on the hammer repeatedly.
That’s Bob Munden of Butte, MT. He’s a regular on Shooting USA’s “Impossible Shots” every Wednesday night on Midway USA’s Wednesday Night at the Range on the Outdoor Channel.
Bob is getting a little long in the tooth now but he’s still darned good and a hoot to watch. All that swagger is part of his act.
Wednesday night on Outdoor Channel is my favorite TV.
The instructor spends most of his time talking about situational awareness rather than defensive weapons. While I'm as big a gun geek as they come I really like to see the emphasis on keeping yourself OUT of trouble rather than what to do once you get in to trouble.
Yep. Wednesday night is Mr. Lurkers Gun Show and Bourbon Night.
That is not a bad thing, not a bad thing at all.

Agree we teach folks to avoid trouble. Don’t ever go armed where ya wouldn’t go unarmed unless yer a military or law enforcement and HAVE to ! Just because I am armed doesn’t make a visit to the ATM any safer at 0300L......
I honestly keep out of lots of trouble these days as I am getting “almost” to old to fight so I’d have to shoot if I get into physical a confrontation.

I know I'm too old to be rolling around in the dirt. So logic dictates that the path of least resistance is to simply shoot the dirtbag.

The only safe way to gun fight this guy is 400 yards out with my 7.62 x 54R.
