It looks like 1.8 million people could easily fit in the Capitol buildings three+ floors.
“1.8 million,” my butt.

I watched part of the joke on C-Span2 last night. I was amazed at the amount of litter on the ground at the end. Appaernetly, these green, environmentally aware liberal Democrats think its ok to leave all of this stuff on the ground.

It will take long to pick up their mess because that’s how ‘Rats are. The government will do it for me.
With messy and disrespectful as their middle names, oh yeah, and environmentalist, I guess they can reconcile littering just as they do polluting with their private jets.

Hmmmm....’clean up the mess’....wonder how long it would take to clean up ZerO’s mess? [That’s assuming there is a country to clean up]

It looks like a swarm of locusts, to me. And there’s no way that was 1 million 8 hundred thousand people. Unless ACORN was doing the counting.

From the satellite picture taken with the people, it doesn’t look like much of a crowd on the west lawn of the Washington Monument, or along the reflecting pool of the Lincoln Memorial. In October of 1997, Promise Keepers filled the west lawn of the Monument, half way along the reflecting pool and all the way east to the pool in front of the Capital. The National Park Service reported a crowd of over a Million for Promise Keepers.

Maybe Elizabeth Alexander should have included in her Inaugural Poem the stuffing of your trash into your plastic bag and taking it with you from the Inaugural celebration along with the patching of tires and repairing of things that need repairing.
