Gary Linam likes to hunt in style. When he and his hunting buddy Mike Self venture into the Dogwood Flats outside of Huntsville, Ala., they drive a four-wheel drive Jeep decked out with a DVD player, Sirius XM radio, backup cameras and a GPS system. Linam dresses head to toe in camouflage."We're all about the camo," Linam says. "We've got the camo seat covers, steering wheel cover, but the cool part about it is the paint job on the outside." Linam's Jeep is a work of art to hunters, anyway thanks to a local artist.

"We're all about the camo," says Gary Linman, who's had multiple hunting vehicles, like this Jeep, painted in custom camouflage to blend in with the Alabama woods.

"I didn't want to paint something that was ugly," Lanier says, recalling her original misgivings about painting hunting camouflage. Above, a detail of her artistry.
OMG! I know that guy..and his name really is NORMAN!
ROTFL!
Fudds...gotta love ‘em.
Maybe someone here could answer this: Whats the point of wearing all camo but then a huge neon orange vest and orange hat? If the answer has something to do with animals being color blind, then why not just wear all orange and ditch the camo?
I always get a kick out of seeing the camouflaged vehicles with the chrome wheels.
The point of camo is profit. The point of orange is so you don’t get shot.
“Whats the point of wearing all camo but then a huge neon orange vest and orange hat?”
The point of the neon orange garb is because the law says you have to wear it. Not in all states and not in all type of hunting.
That looks like my next door neighbor!
(chuckle)
It kind of makes me wonder how all the old timers who only wore dungarees and a barn jacket managed not to starve.

camo is useful when turkey hunting, as they see in full colour.

You got that right! All my city kin, have full camo and all the anti-scent stuff and rarely take home any meat. I go out in work clothes smelling like the shop and “accidentally” find one with bad eyesight and bad nose deer to go home with me every year.
