Both had this relaxed, cool personable appeal. Both tried to cast themselves as intelectual and diplomatic, but Carter got us into some real jams and Biden predicts... Both want to spend away our problems. But, I think, Obama is Carter on steroids. Are we in for Stagflation again?
Carter ran as a conservative.
And, I might add, both ran as Beltway outsiders wanting change.

Obama won’t be nearly as wimpy as Carter was. This could be a plus if Obama stands up against our enemies abroad (I’m not saying he will) and a big negative if he brings his executive power to bear against us conservatives.

We saw glimpses of the Obama ire when the MSM started actually asking him questions instead of lobbing softballs. Methinks he could get street crazy.

I am so afraid he is going to turn against Israel. Bush must have been, too, as he did some last minute preparations for Israel before he left office so they will be in shape to take care of Iranian business.

I hope I am wrong, but I am all but convinced that we are near a full blown Depression. Strangely, I am no longer worried about it though.
Both are raging idiots and, hopefully, both were/will be one term “wonders”.
