I got a friend who used to live in the city of San Bernardino. Used to work at some kind of restaurant over there. I heard different things about SB, one that it was just some valley town that supported Bush, the other that it was a liberal sewer pit with high crime and a lot of homeless. (But that would be just about any place in Cali) What do they have over there? I've only been to Bakersfield, Lancaster, LA and San Diego.
PETA slut homepage?
San Bernardino, CA

**What do they have there?**
Not too much. You’ve got to leave that city to find anything. Just up the mountain is skiing. Just west is the beach. Just east is Oak Glen for apple farms. Redlands is actually a lovely place but even that city has its flaws, as do all cities. Great place to live though (Redlands) and a nice little downtown area (Main Street) with a particular restaurant that has great breakfasts and the crowds to prove it. :o) McDuffs. Redlands used to be known for its orange groves til JJ Ramirez sold off most of his. Still groves there though - best oranges in the world.
San Bernardino is the largest county in the USA.
Lots of different areas there.
I gargled it!
Don’t forget Martha Green’s bakery...
It is the largest county. Has the most poor in that county.. places like Needles, CA is in SB County and is wanting to secede from CA and join either Arizona or Nevada (right at that border)... I would not want to live in San Bernadino myself.
Martha Green’s Bakery is nice too, yes. The jalapeno cheese bread is wonderful.
Personally I like Mentone
The county? or the City. The county went for Bush.
No, my observation isn’t true in the towns where I lived, Covina and Oceanside.
Yeah. I thought he was talking about the city. I live in the County. It is a huge county with lots of different areas. The desert areas (most of it is desert) is pretty conservative.
Yes, I’m sure. I went to Burbank, several times. It looks as if it’s an average middle-class town.
Both are better than nearby Fontana...

San Bernardino county is huge. In the largest population concentration (western) it looks and feels like Tijuana. English is a second language. Lots of poor people trashing their own neighborhoods. Gangs, grafitti, drugs, crime, and trashy streets with lots of parked cars. Many homes were bought their homes with zero down reverse mortgages with two or more families pitching in to purchase. Oh yeah, there’s also a major fault line that runs right through the middle. Its called the San Andreas Fault.
I’m with Now Approaching Midnight.
hahaha, shopping cart? hahha, too funny. Too true.
...used to stop somewhat regularly at Griswold’s off the Ford St. exit.
