Got this up,...looking good so far...now if I can improve the fonts...I might stick with it for a while.

Got 6 workspaces and compiz,...gives me a rotating Hexagon....

I just installed Kubuntu on a surplus Latitude C600 that I beefed up - I'm downloading this .iso to give it a shake. Thanks for the tip.
