Isn't It Ironic? (Hussein Gets To Decide Who Is A Human And Who Isn't...)

Posted on 03/09/2009 6:01:57 PM PDT by Recovering_Democrat

Isn't it ironic? 150 years ago, B. Hussein Obama would have been defined as "less than human" by the Democrat party.

Today, with the stroke of a pen and to the cheers of most of the Democrat party, he chose to define human embryos as LESS than human, worthy of destruction for the pleasure and profit of men who would use them to get money.

Anyone else find that sad?

I have no doubt that the irony is completely lost on him.

Good one!

How in the world do these people sleep at night?

My daughter saw the signing on television at her high school today. She was horrified.

My daughter (13) was in the car on the ride home and the news told about him signing it and played the applause and yelling and she said “Why are they happy those babies aren’t ever going to be born?” Of course a lefty will just I have brainwashed her into thinking a POTENTIAL human isn’t actually HUMAN. Someone somewhere, don’t know who, gets to say when it jumps from being “tissue” to “baby”. I think the only difference is how the “Mom” considers it. I know the second I knew they were in my stomach they were “babies” to me.

Do you think these people are really cheering for the order or for Obama?

There are a lot of deranged people in D.C.

“Life unworthy of life” is how the Nazis phrased it. Does Obama even think about the fact that his very “non-Aryan” background would have won him that very same classification in swastika-land? Yet he’s advancing the very same thing here in 2009 America.

Me. I find that terribly depressing condemning all those lives to a death not deserved. If we as human beings disregard life in an atrocious, how do we expect future generations to respect life?

Murder is a sin. The President is ordering countless murders. We are all obliged, and elected officials are especially obliged, to protect the sanctity of human life.

The U.S. Supreme Court decided with Rowe vs Wade that Babies in or out of the womb are not human. And could be killed for a small fee. So why is this surprising to anyone ?

You are absolutely right. Life is life at the moment of conception.

When we see a seed sprouting do we not rejoice in the growth of a coming plant or crop? We certainly know that if we pull out that sprout it ceases to live.

Has the left so deluded itself in issues of life that they really don't see life at conception?

Satan must rejoice is such madness.

Obama has only been in office not even 2 months and he has already done a great deal of damage. I hate to think about what the USA will be like after one year with this 2-bit dictator as president.

"Isn't it ironic? 150 years ago, B. Hussein Obama would have been defined as "less than human" by the Democrat party. "

Today, B. Hussein Obama is defining himself as less than human by his actions.

Americas founders gave us a legacy based in English Common Law and the Magna Carta. The Kenyan Usurper will give us a legacy from his ancestors, based on the law of the machete and the burning tire.

The disrespect for life has become, from embryo destruction to "go home and die" health care, ubiquitous.

No doubt the gods are pleased.

I wish someone would start a website where you could sign up and agree not to use the “poisoned fruit” of embryonic stem cells.

I suspect if 25 million or 40 million or 80 million people signed the pledge, the drug companies developing these therapies would think twice about spending big bucks on this research.

It annoys me to no end that this sort of research is being billed as scientific. But science without ethics is inhuman and evil. What happens when the only treatment is rooted in embryonic cells and that’s all you can get from National Health Care?

If you click my about page, you will see a picture of my older son, taken about two years ago. You will note that he is quite thin, the result of juvenile diabetes with zero pancreatic function.

Typically this would be a person you would expect to be anxious for this so-called “research” into stem cells.

Here’s the rub. Mick is adopted. He was adopted as a baby, and knows full well that his birth mother made the right decision - for life.

He is also a Christian. Although I took him to church as a child, and explained my faith to him, I never pushed him to believe, only to consider. He did just that, and chose to join a Baptist church, which he feels most closely reflects the nature of his faith. That faith includes an unequivocal respect for life.

We are doing the best we can to manage his illness, and he is on the list for a transplant, should one become available.

Considering therapy from cells obtained at the cost of a human life is out of the question. I could not be more proud of his decision, though I did very little to bring him to it.

Should the type of movement you describe become a reality, we would be the first to support it, both with prayer and financially.
