From another movie..."Welcome to the fight"

I have recently been awakened to the terror that has become our government, as you can tell by my screen name. If you have ever seen the movie the Matrix then you know exactly what I am talking about. In the movie Keanu Reeves is given a choice to take a red pill and become awaken to reality or take a blue pill and have no memory of anything. He takes the red pill and is introduced to a nightmare of a reality.
I have taken the red pill and discovered what the government is doing to us. The youth of America today are being programmed to believe that they are living in a "Great Society", in which the government is our great protector. They are being conditioned to view religion as a tool to stop them from thinking for themselves. They are being taught that morals are whatever makes you happy. I have been awakened to reality... and I'm scared. In the movie some of the characters state, "I should have taken the blue pill." I feel the same way sometimes, but then, I would still be a mind controlled robot. I have become an enemy of the state, I have become the governments worst nightmare, I have started to think for myself.
I have started my own mission to wake the sleeping people of this country, I have started with my family and friends... finding out what they think and helping them see the light. If the people in this country who have been awaken will stand up and fight back, teach our kids the truth, remind our youth what morals are, and... remind or teach our kids the beauty of the American Constitution, and the danger it is in, then we can take back our country.
I have been awaken... I have been reminded... I have had my mind freed!

This probably explains why whenever I see a battery, I feel an emotional attachment to it.

I have a 12 year old and it was been fun seeing him take an interest in politics since a little before the election.
Now I download Rush’s podcasts for him and we watch Glenn Beck together every night.
I’m trying not to give him an option between the red and blue pills.... ;-)

Good. Then they’ll either have to handle things just like founding fathers have always had to handle things. They’ll have to choose - cowards or patriots. It’ll be their call.
