The sheer number of "green" choices we can make is astounding. And, since it's totally overwhelming (not to mention impossible) to try to do everything, it makes sense to stop worrying about the stuff that ultimately doesn't matter.
Instead focus on the areas where your actions will make the most difference. Making changes in what you eat, the way you get around, and how you use energy at home (and work) will have the biggest impact on the planet.

It's SMART to turn off lights/power/whatever that you don't use. Saves a buck or two. /rant on....why can't a good idea just be a good idea? Why does it need to be "eco-" this or "green-" that? /rant off
I intend to celebrate Earth Day by throwing away recyclables.
I’ll change when I see Al Gore, Oprah, and Obama changing their lifestyles.
MEGA BUMP!!!!!
I wish I had some old tires.
I might burn them.
Actually, NASA says the POLLUTION helps REDUCE “global warming”!!
Need to save energy, dontcha know.
Price is one of the most reliable indicators of how green something is. Wal-mart should push that. If something costs more it’s usually because it took resources to make it.
Not a part of this religion so I’m not going to adhere by it’s commandments.
Wal Mart drank the green kool aid some time ago. It is now so dark in my local Wal Mart I can barely see what I’m buying. And good luck trying to wash your hands in their new green Mens Room!
Not a bad article, actually. But I have advice for you Green folks: dump the Global Warming hoax immediately. Behave like outdoorsmen and nature lovers, not wild eyed cultists in some new eco religion. Wanting to be good stewards of God’s good earth is quite different from believing Man can change earth’s climate.
In case you haven’t heard: the climate has been getting colder since 1998, this after 20 years of increasing sun storm activity. This inconvenient scientific fact forced Al Gore and his agenda-driven robots to switch the nomenclature from Global Warming to Climate Change.... but the world had already bought in on the warming fear. The cynical wording switch hasn’t caught on... the whole hoax thing is now embarassing the phony scientists, hippies, soccer moms, guilty whites, econuts and democrats.
Caring for earth is good, joining that hateful eco cult is bad. Choose wisely.
I live on 60acs in an Oregon rain Forrest. There are over 40K tress on my property (extremely dense). For the last several years I have used this day to harvest my winter wood heating supply. This day, I am proud to say, my 2 sons and I brought down over 54, fresh, green, healthy trees for our annual wood supply.......I LOVE IT !! (Is there ANY fagot, candy ass tree muggers out there who would like to help us buck and split it up??)
