Michelle Obama stresses the importance of art - at the museum where she and Barack had their first date

Michelle Obama returned to the scene of her first date with President Barack Obama as she reopened a wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art....

...To the amusement of a crowd... Mrs Obama was reminded by museum president...that she and the president had their first date in a museum.

'Thank you for reminding me,' Mrs. Obama said.

'You know, after 20-some-odd years of knowing a guy, you forget that your first date was at a museum. But it was, and it was obviously wonderful; it worked.'

She added: 'The president and I want to ensure that all children have access to great works of art.'

Museums keep tabs on exactly where people have their first dates? Or was this a publicity stunt and pre-arranged bit of patter?

And just how will that $50 million stimulate the economy? What new jobs will it be used to create? Oh, it's another welfare payment for educated liberals.

Too bad the art world has a political litmus test.

She doesn't say that it was THIS museum where they had their first date. It could have been she ran into him at the opening of the new David Hockney exhibit somewhere.

She and her husband have no idea what our children need. They are spending like drunken sailors only to saddle these same children with overwhelming debt.

It was an artist named Shepherd Fairey who helped elect this fraud.

I got the dreaded red x so I looked up Shepard Fairey. Look what I found:

Made my day. Obama and the artist must be thrilled Obama's image is being used to protest the horror of abortion.
